Los Angeles? Was hoping they'd go back to Los Santos, hopefully they still keep the fake names. Would love it to be a modern version of SA, I'd love it to be set in the 80s since they have the best music for GTA games, but it'd be too similar to the 04 SA. Can't wait. They should have an ethnic feel to the story like San Andreas did

Im excited to see how hollywood looks. Hopefully it has a hollywood and movie star feel to it instead of a south central and gangster type feel that san andreas had.

Whenever GTA "V" tag is batted around, it is simply code for the next GTA and not oh the next one will be "GTA V".
If they go San Andreas, then it should be GTA: San Andreas II. Which will be so so awesome. I miss the hell out of the great times messing around in San Ann. Give us planes!
I hope they bring the PS2 games to PS3 too

The next GTA game should be either Vice City II or San Andreas II, not GTA V!

Whatever it is, I want an 80's setting. REALLY want an 80's setting. I personally found San Andreas really poor in terms of story. The same goes for GTAIV, I mean the characters were great in that, but the atmosphere and plot were just too somber.
Don't get me wrong, both were good games but when I think of Grand Theft Auto, I think The Malibu Club, Lovefist, Boomshine, Candy Suxx all whilst 'Video Killed the Radio star' plays in the background (:
Rockstar have proven that they can do gritty with RDR, GTAIV and my pick for 'Game of this generation', LA Noire. For the Next GTA, I want a return to the 80's complete with the vibrant colours, cheesy soundtrack and goofy characters. I doubt it would happen, and to be honest, it's got to the point where I'll buy anything Rockstar put out, but another 80's title would be perfect IMO. still, cool to hear that it's on the horizon!

Oh, believe me, I do too. But I think they should just stick to GTA followed by a roman numeral. But I guess it would also be cool if they continued the tradition and go with the first one having a roman numeral in the title and then the two sequels be called GTA: Vice City II and GTA: San Andreas II.

Right now I'de take Bully 2 over GTA V personally.
I'de prefer it if they kept GTA V until the launch of the next generation of consoles. Could you imagine how awesome that could be as a launch title?

Bully 2 should follow it. RDR was awesome. LA Noire was bland in comparison. I feel like if we had to go through another non-GTA R* game, it would feel too much for me, too many games between the best R* has. And I wouldn't be as interested in it because the next GTA should be round the corner. The wait has been long enough.
Back on PS2 we had 3 of the best games ever in GTA3, VC & SA in the space of 4 years.

I honestly don't know if I can go back to GTA after Red Dead Redemption. It was just such an epic game from start to finish. GTA IV, when I've played it recently, has really just made me want to play Red Dead again. I enjoyed Grand Theft Auto IV a lot more than I did Red Dead Redemption.

I'd like to see another GTA game based in Europe.
On another note, I would also like to see a Grand Theft Auto HD Collection with Grand Theft Auto III, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas all with trophies since a lot of other franchises have been doing that.

They were supposed to be re-releasing all three of those games with unlock-able achievements and I think slightly upgraded graphics, but IDK what happened to that. I really hope they still plan on doing it.

I'd honestly rather see them come up with a brand new place instead of revisiting one.
