He's gonna be on The MMA Hour tomorrow, so maybe he'll say something related.

Mitrione should fight Arlovski or Rogers next. Probably won't happen, but I just don't know who else he should fight. Cro Cop?

I feel like Arlovski and his glass chin would be a gimme right now... So, I suppose he could fight Rogers but that is a strecth..lets keep it UFC Mir( coming a win over Nelson) Schaub( I think he has a fight booked though?) Kongo Struve OR Pat Barry.

Well a lot of the reports make it seem like he "just missed the mark" in regards to being cleared, and that he'll likely be good to go eventually. So it kind of makes things more confusing in regards to the secrecy, and the other rumors that Nate was yanked due to some awful condition.
As for Mitrione, I really hope they don't bother putting him against Cro Cop. I love Mirko and all, but I think with his current state, they'd basically just be feeding him to Matt (seriously pains me to make such a statement). Rogers would be a decent challenge. I'd take Arlovski over Mirko, but he's getting close to being in the same boat with Cro Cop. He's only been losing heavily to top tier opponents though, so a fight with Matt could truly cement where Andrei belongs.
The only other opponents I can think of on the active UFC roster would be Travis Browne, or maybe the winner of Hunt/Rothwell.
To Last Hero:
Kongo and Barry would make sense too. I think Struve is a little below Matt at this point, but it's a possibility.
I personally think Mir is ahead of Matt, and should instead be saved for the winner of Schaub/Big Nog.

Arlovski gets too much sh*t. He has been KO'ed by guys who are serious punchers, and proved he has a chin after taking shots from the mammoth-handed Bigfoot Silva. He's only lost to real good guys.
I say he fights Cro Cop. Cro Cop was able to hang with Schaub until the KO and I think will give Mitrione problems on the feet, much like Morecraft kind of did in round 1.

Barry trains with Mitrione, so I don't think they'll agree to that.

I would actually be interested to see Mitrione possibly get Nelson. Would be a big step up though

No I definitely agree about Arlovski. I personally just wonder where his head is after experiencing those consecutive losses, and if it'd make him way too gun shy for his own good in future fights. Matt/Cro Cop wouldn't be a complete mismatch, and I'd still root for Mirko (as usual). I've just lost so much faith in him over the last few fights. He clearly still has some of his core strengths intact (take down defense being a big one), but that brilliant killer instinct he once had is frustratingly absent.

Problem is no one knows Roy's future at the moment. He needs to get into shape and maybe drop downt o 205. All of this... uhhh I couldn't weight 205 because of this that and the other uhhh... No, you can't weight 205 because you're lazy and like fast food bunghole.

Kind of ridiculous to dig on Nelson like that. He does need to lose a little weight, and he sees that.

No, you can't weight 205 because you're lazy and like fast food bunghole. It'd be a step up for Matt on paper, regardless of current win/losing streaks. Roy has been facing far better competition for awhile now. And getting in better shape in general is the bigger need for Roy, not some drastic drop to 205.

Roy COULD in theory get to 205 if he really put the effort into it. I've dropped that amount of weight recently. And if I can by just cleaning up the diet a bit and running a lot, Roy can certainly do it.
But I think he should get to like... 240 or 230 first. At 260 he's just too big for his height and has some cardio issues.
To answer the original Mitrione question, I think Kongo, Mirko and Struve would be bigger steps up for Matt and would be logical next fights.
