was looking through a box I found in the cupboard and found all my old gameboy games etc and all my old pokemon ones (blue, Red, Yellow, Gold, Leafgreen, Fire Red. so though i would give them alittle play and ive got hooked on them again haha. Used to love playing the games years ago and only stoped when i got things like my PS2.

Thats the same with me, i stopped when i got my PS2 and started again when i moved overseas as my PS2 was in a shipping container half way round the world. :lO

People think, "YEP, FIRE BEATS GRASS, WATER BEATS FIRE, GRASS BEATS WATER,  ING DUMB GAME!" even though half of that is true you can also look into further was, Ground beats Fire, Electricity beats water, Ice beats Grass, then you can look even further and say Water is 4x effective to a Fire/Rock type or Fire is 0.25x effective to a Ground/Water type. But then you can also look even further by building a team around stats, say, oh i want all my Pokemon to be fast, or i want a slow defensive/special defensive team. But even after that you can do special runs like never used, or rarely used, or Nuzlocke or *insert type* only or solo or i could go on forever ._. They're games with great story lines (especially the latest ones) but they also have some of the best replay value ever, even if you don't want to replay the game, you can still do whatever you like after you beat the elite four. It's a shame that their name is known as a kids show, because in my opinion the engine the games runs on is one of the best in the world, i wish it could be used in more games, but the only ones that come to mind are Japanese anime's ending with 'Mon'. I love Pokemon, it's been with me all my life, and i could talk about it for ages, it's one of the few things that I've spent hours studying, i swear, if i had to write a paper about shiny Pokemon i would get excited. Oh i gotta stop now....  |

Yeah M, Pokemon is very technical.
The more you know the better your pokemon will likely be.
I have been busy all of yesterday and today so Mew will hopefully be EV trained tonight.

I finally have my entire Platinum team fully EV trained. Now I'm going to grow them to level 60 and then trade them back to beat my other Platinum.  |

Damn, Angus! I pretty much gave up, so, you're the lone wolf in the pack, so to speak. Meanwhile, my personal Vctini hunt has now brought me to 2 last trys: 2-5 @ the dentist's tomorrow, and then hopefully, 1-5 at home, if I badger enough for a router to get hooked up. If that doesn't work, back-up plan, after the new year. Damn Wi-Fi events!

I got my Platinum team to level 60 so now all I have to do is trade them to the Platinum version which they were on and complete the game.
These 6 Pokemon will eventually move to my Soul Silver or White version [I've not decided yet].
