Just started the Nuzlock Challenge on the emulator on my phone a few days ago. I decided to go with Pokemon Blue, since I haven't played the old games in a while. I'm already to Fuschia City, but I got a feeling I'm going to be having a hard time here soon, since my team is a little under leveled for Koga or Sabrina atm. I do like it very much. Wanted a fire type, but my Vulpix fainted before it learned Flamethrower when I was going to evolve it. Here's my team right now: Mathias (Venusaur) Level 32 Derp (Raticate) Level 32 Sexypants (Hypno) Level 33 Wally (Dugtrio) Level 33 Gil (Jolteon) Level 32 F...Yeah!! (Seaking) Level 32 Really the only one I don't like having at this point is Raticate, but Hyper Fang is such a nasty move that it comes in handy still. The Nuzlocke is really fun since I'm training three Pokemon that I've never used before (Jolteon, Dugtrio, and Seaking). It sucks when they faint though. Lost a Pidgey, Butterfree, Bellsprout, and Vulpix so far. Have another Bellsprout, Snorlax, Slowpoke, and a Doduo in my box. |

I decided to buy Soul Silver, just to relive the story of that game. I dunno why but Silver sticks out for me as a great one. I got to the first gym and tried to save until I realized that I had to erase the previous save before I could save my game. GAH.

When I got a copy of Soul Silver last year (for the exact same reason as you) I did the exact same thing. I had no idea starting a new game didnt erase the previous game. |
