Just buy some figures now that you want and go back at after 7/3 and return then rebuy.

this sucks for moc collectors. i'm just gonna rip upcs off of figs in the store and send in receipts for the figs i buy but keep moc. Well, I don't agree with what you say you're going to do but the fact that you're even considering this goes to show how idiotic this promotion is. Did Mattel even begin to think that not all of the people that buy their products open them up?? Have they forgotten about all the MOC collectors that they were trying to impress when telling us they were going to make packaging nicer for the more expensive figures, which most MOC collectors collect? As far as I'm concerned, Mattel really dropped the ball on this one. And I say this aside from being Canadian and not being eligible for the figure. GG Mattel.

So forget that would be stealing, but you are going to ruin it for others who won't be able to buy those figures now? The UPC's are inside the bubble so you'll have to tear them open steal the inserts which will mean the store can't sell those figures now.

this really sucks for people like me who buy 99% of the stuff I need from Ringside, I have all of Elite 8 and 9, all of basic 11 and all of Legends 5 and don't need anything else, this really blows...

If Mattel is reading this thread they must be scratching their heads, "WTF, we just can't win, damned if we do, damned if we don't" and whatever other words of disbelief you want to throw in there.

Wish we were able to spend £40-50 on figures we want from the reg lines and get a free Vince. crazy. Yeah... me too - it would be awesome just going to TRU and seeing shelves full of Legends, Legends 2-pks, and Defining Moments figures - nevermind getting a free exclusive Vince McMahon figure too! I can't believe some (US) guys are complaining or thinking of stealing the upcs etc.... you guys don't know how lucky you are.

Maybe we should start asking Toys R Us and Smyths to start stocking the extra lines... But the thing is, there really are only a couple of dozen of us at most on here, and I doubt there are many people in the country that would be interested. I remember seeing the same Jakks classics on the shelves of my local TRU for about two years. I remember cursing them at Smyths in January 2010 as well when I'd go in hoping they'd got Mattel stuff in, and all that was ever there was Jakks classics and No Way Out. We could try contacting the retailers though and expressing an interest in the other lines they're not currently buying. It can't hurt to try. But the failure of the Legends line in the U.S. probably wouldn't give them much faith in bringing it over anyway.

It's not technically free... it technically costs $5. Still very cheap.

Glad to see Vince finally get a Mattel fig. I can see them using that suit mold for various figs in the future..

Since I was the 1st to report this on Friday around noon. Then my thread was locked plus everyone didn't believe me. I think everyone that said I was full of crap and not wood, owes the Log a "I'm sorry with sugar on top" I told you all I was not making this up. I just don't see buying 4 figures at $11.99. That's crazy. Mrs. Log would rip my bark off.

I suppose we can't really blame the retailers over here for not stocking the figures given the Jakks Classics history, the poor US sales, and high price-point of the figures (especially the DM figures). It would nice though if just one UK retailer picked them up - even to sell as store exclusives (similar to the "Only At Toys'r'Us" Vintage Star Wars line). It would be SO cool walking into Smyths or TRU and seeing Legends figures alongside the Elite ones...! Still, we (UK) seem to be doing pretty well on the Elite and 2-packs front, so it's not all doom and gloom... ;D

HHHMMMMM.....
Im not to keen on this figure. I really wanted McMahon's first fig to be in the elite line with a removable fabric suit ( like Ted DiBiase Sr) and his signature black pants/singlet underneath.
Plus I really dislike the headscan, it just looks off to me...

Went to 3 TRU's today and no display. And I didn't find any new figures either. I'm hoping next week this stuff pops up. Can't wait to find Basic 11 and Elite 9.
