lol. This makes no sense. So even though the promotion is out now if you buy anything today it won't count until 7/03/11

Wah!!!!! I have all Legends and Elites and I live in the UK and Im UPSET!!!!!! MATTEL!!!! What do I do THEN!!!?!!! Well my local toys r us today had a display kit with all the new rumblers, legends 5, elite 9 and basic 11. Boy was I happy to have found ryder, bryan, eve, miz and randy savage. Plus now i get vinnie mac as i purchased most of elite 9. You don't get Vinnie Mac. You had to purchase them between July 3rd and September 3rd. In theory, if he keeps the boxes, he can just return the figures after July 3rd and instantly rebuy them to get new receipts. You have to pay 5 bucks for shipping, plus you have to ship 4 CARDS in, and that will cost about $1.50 to ship. So it's really a $70.99 figure. I hope that Mattel NEVER releases a figure of Vince besides this one. I think you mean a $70.99 five-pack. lol. This makes no sense. So even though the promotion is out now if you buy anything today it won't count until 7/03/11 Yeah, it's pretty strange. Unless some stores have put the displays out ridiculously early, they should probably honour receipts from late June. Damn, shame its not for UK. What happens if I visit the US, buy 4 figures then send the card things in with my UK address? From the site: This offer is valid for purchases made in, and orders mailed from, the U.S. and Puerto Rico only.Plus of the qualifying figures, the only ones that Toys R Us over here gets is Elites anyway.

Two ways of looking at this. Firstly, its AWESOME we're getting a mr mcmahon figure, was really excited to see how mattel would do with him and it looks great! But number two, how in the heck am i supposed to get one? What about the rest of us international people? What do we do? Once again we are left out of a promotion and the fact you need to buy 4 figures to get it means theres going to be very few on ebay and especially at any kind of reasonable price. If theres a US member that could help me out it would be highly appreciated but come on Mattel what are we international people supposed to do? We just get left out again like we do with all the promotions? Exactly could not agree more mate! screw the the wider range of collectors from around the globe but still cater for America that's fine! just let us pay scalper prices on eBay....Kinda used to it now. On the plus side the figure looks really well done! kinda out of no where as well! wasn't expecting anything like this till SDCC.

I understand that the UKers are unhappy, but you get more vacation than us overworked Americans, so we deserve this The following table lists nine countries and the average number of paid vacation days per year employees receive in each country. Italy 42 days France 37 days Germany 35 days Brazil 34 days United Kingdom 28 daysCanada 26 days Korea 25 days Japan 25 days U.S. 13 days

This is awful. The overstocked 2002 Kane exclusive and the significantly less stocked SES CM Punk exclusives are so much less sought after than a Vince.
This will cost us UK'ers the better part of £60-80 overall if not £100 in the early days, which is over $100. We may get lucky and WWorld may get a few for probably £30-40. But to me paying any of that is crazy for one figure when it could have been in place of the Kane figure for £20-25 from WWorld, which would eventually come down in price if the stock piles up which I doubt it would because like I said Vince is so much more sought after.
Wish we were able to spend £40-50 on figures we want from the reg lines and get a free Vince. crazy.

Well sucks it won't ship to UK. Thanks for the help on that.
Hopefully Mattel will answer this on here or in the Q&A.

Interesting. I don't like how the collar of his button up shirt is so thick it looks like he's wearing a cravat (could very well just be the angle), but the likeness is very strong. Hopefully this doesn't remain the only way to get a Vince figure, because god damn.

I'm sure I'll be buying 4 elite stlyed figures at TRU between the timeframe so I'll probably get it. But if I don't find 4 figures I want in the timeframe I won't miss not having it.

I see this as getting a free figure for four figures I already was going to buy. Don't do something like buy 4 figures you DON'T want just for the one you do. I'm sure between those 4 lines, you can find 4 things you want between now and F'N September!
Although I will agree that this does suck for International buyers. I don't get why Canada isn't included though, it's at least on the same continent

^yes it would. Tru counts a printed invoice as a receipt, which it is. As long as the 4 figures were from the waves listed as acceptable in the advert, you'll get your figure.
This is the same basic promotion all toy companies have been using for years. Star wars, gi Joe, they all use this model, just not usually through 1 store.
