It seems like the biggest issues are with the songs exclusive to packs like 2112 and one of the Ozzy packs. Hope they get that sorted out soon.
Otherwise, the game is pretty fun. It's taking me a bit of time to get used to the change in presentation and colours, but the inputs are spot on. I always felt that there was a split second delay in the old games during drum fills which could throw off my timing, but I don't get that here. Speaking of, I thought I would love the new drum fill system, but I hate it. It throws off the songs for me. Fortunately you can either turn it off or go back to the old system. I'd say my only real complaint is being unable to make a setlist of songs and just play through it. The new way it works is great for when you have friends over, but for single play it's just annoying.

Yeah so far the biggest piss off is not being able to download 2112, as well as The Doors and the Ozzy songs that I know I own. Only got to play one song so far, the rest of the day was spent downloading the rest of my missing DLC.

If they ever decide to allow Beatles: Rock Band songs to be played (Yeah, I know. Pipe Dream) then I'll be all over this.
Otherwise, I'll be in the basement with my old 360, kicking out the jams to Abbey Road. "The End" is easily my favorite song to play in that game. Maybe "Hey Bulldog" even though that's a terrible song.

I MA only missing a handful of dlc songs that I can tell. I know none of the rock band network stuff is there yet.
Can you turn off the guitar solo stuff and go back to the old way? After trying them for a while I'm not a fan.

I only own about 100 songs, but the only ones that wouldn't download were 2112 and Subdivisions. Not sure why the latter isn't working since it was just a single release as far as I remember... After trying them for a while I'm not a fan. I haven't tried playing with the guitar yet, but since you can go back to the old way with drums I'd assume you can with guitar too. Try pausing and going to the options menu just before you start a song to find stuff like that. Took me a while to find it tbh. |

Since I switched from Xbox 360 to PS4, all my DLC, which I have a ton of, is no good. I feel sorry for you guys not getting your old songs, but I feel worse because I'm going to get nothing. Actually, I don't even know if I want this game. I loved all the old Rock Bands, but they always seemed to be taking a step forward. This game kind of feels like a step back with a weaker setlist.  |

After trying them for a while I'm not a fan. Yeah when your in the menus hit the start button to being up the menu at the bottom and it should be in the options there to turn it off. I turned it off after the first song that had it. It just kind of defeats why I play these games if I'm not playing solos. |

Question for you, the full Freestyle achievement, any advice? Second question. Using the solo buttons for the Scripted Solo achievement, any advice on that? Any easy songs I can buy that are easy? I'm goin' achievement hunting so I figured I would ask you and Mr. PerpetuaLynch Motion if you guys had advice for either of those. |

Got the new Guitar Hero but couldn't get the hang of the new 6 button layout and wasn't enjoying it as much so I sold it and got RockBand instead, the freestyle solo is a nifty feature but I prefer to play without it. Was reading they're looking at constantly supporting the game and adding features and stuff all the time so hopefully online play gets added.

The RB3 export is out on PS4 and XB1. I purchased it and imported the songs this past weekend.

I got GH:Live for Christmas and I'm having a blast with it so far. It's great learning how to play again, I've been playing since GH 2 so I'm pretty proficient at the standard 5 coloured frets. Happy to play to get better all over again.
