Ive never felt the need to sneak out. All I have to do is be honest and ask my parents if I can go somewhere and they will say yes.

no way. you're 17 and this is a problem? I'm 17 and I'm worrying about how I'm gonna pay my bills and feed myself. Not at people are at the same stages of independence at age 17.

i am the luckiest SOB in the world, i told my mom, made my argument, earned some brownie points for telling the truth, our parents talked, her mom talked highly of me for telling the truth, they had like a 5 minute conversation about how dangerous sneaking out is. i got in absolutely no trouble!!!!!!!! just "this better not happen again" awesome bro!!!!!!!

I never had the need to sneak out. I was always able to do what I wanted as long as I communicated with my parents where I was, who I'd be with and if I wasn't coming home, where I'd be staying.

I never had the need to sneak out. I was always able to do what I wanted as long as I communicated with my parents where I was, who I'd be with and if I wasn't coming home, where I'd be staying. Exactly the same scenario with me and my parents. I only started going out drinking when I was 19 so they knew I was old enough to look after myself and not get into trouble. When I wake up in the afternoon after having slept for ages they may ask me "When did you get in last night" (I don't lie because they may already know the answer, and are just testing my honesty) I say "I dunno, about 04:30?", and then they say nothing at all. Really is bliss not having them on my back. Plus I tell them what I get up to if it was really an interesting night. (More so my Dad, as I may say things like "I met this girl, and we were dancing... blah blah, I ended up making out with her and getting her number... blah blah")

On a side note I would have told her step father that he's not her father. He sure as hell is not your father and you're not giving him your number. You'd be an idiot to say this.

LOL! I Hope you get grounded...
Seriously though.. Her mum is standing in the way of true love... I suggest you kill her - You will be free to see her daughter whenever you choose then..

Your 17 and your worried about sneaking out to see a girl? Dude grow a set, my parents stopped punishing me when i was 14 and showed them that even if i stay out to all hours of the night that i wont do anything wrong or get hurt.
