I watched this with my girlfriend, and couldn't help but just go insane. My god, she picked a great night to watch wrestling for the first time. same here, it was the first time my girl and i actaully sat down together and both watched..i MARKED out, jumping on my bed, she yelled at me..TO which I said: " I'm REALLY Glad you're here right now to ruin this moment for me!" Don't interrupt me when I'm marking out for my savior. HAHAHAHA. Women.... Just remember to get her back next time she gets all happy.....

Wet blanket? The entire fad of the banners revolving around threads, including most of the recent threadheads is quite ridiculous. Team Shoot or Work banners included. Just my opinion, brah. Why is it such a big deal to you what people put in their sigs? Why do you even care? Because the original purpose/concept of it was totally shat on by the majority of this board. Now a ton of people want to participate and make banners and games out of every little thing that happens here. It's overkill, AND it's hypocritical.

The real question is is why was he wearing a stone cold shirt? I was wondering the same thing, I think it's because him and Stone Cold share the same opinions. I made a thread about this but it got deleted, this gives it away. I mean they were feuding on camera, he clearly doesn't care anymore and went of script BIG TIME

The real question is is why was he wearing a stone cold shirt? Because that was CM Punk's Austin 3:16 moment...

I swear to god if we see more ridiculous Team Work or Team Shoot banners for this promo I'm going to go insane. Anyways, I wish the WWE would cover this up a little better. It's the leading story on their website. They should erase Punk from everything, like Beniot. Oh God, there's always gotta be at least one wet blanket. Of course we will, there's no originality on this site. LOL didn't know we had to have originality here.[/quote] LOL didn't know you had to reply to every single post. It's a work, look at WWE Facebook's latest poll.

I dont care if Punk's Promo was a work or shoot I loved it and it just further proves that CM Punk is the ing man , There's not that many good things left about the WWE especially after Punk leaves.

Surely they would have cut the mic off when he called Steph idiotic, if it was a legit shoot - but they still let him carry on and call HHH a doofus.

I wonder if this will hit the 20 page mark by the morning.
I'm still excited with this promo. Its not too often you see somebody allowed to say whats on his mind on live TV. Usually its so "blah blah PPV, Title, i'm a winner" crap. This was soooooo different and to me thats what makes it special. I rank it up there with Austin's best ECW promo, Austins KotR 96 promo and any other you can think of.

The point of the promo was controversy. While it may seem like a shoot it was pretty much worked the point is it has people talking about it. People have blown up about it in less than an hours time and now his promo made such a splash that it's basically a simple marketing maneuver. The more people talk about it and support him by buying his merchandise the suspension will be magically un-lifted just in time for MITB and the sales will skyrocket. Notice how he was wearing a Stone Cold shirt,Stone Cold was a rebel and did it in WWE but was a character. If it were a shoot he probably would have had one of his old Ring of Honor shirts on. The point of all the controversy is to have him be a huge draw so WWE will see his worth and do anything to keep him on board. I'm not gonna say the promo was boring or I wasn't shocked by it but I had a feeling they were up to something the minute he said Paul Heyman and didn't cut his mic right there. It's compelling stuff either way you look at it and I'm sure what he said has been said on here many times before in bits and pieces and that's why so many people have marked out about it and since he already was a huge online icon to begin with this only increased his fanbase and WWE knows that so they want to take advantage of that. If they decided to end the PG era now would be a good time to do it because all the buzz this has created we could start seeing more controversial stuff each week and more or less a new attitude era could be born but chances are I don't see it going that far as much as I'd love to see that I know they won't.

I really could've done without that much info though. You mean the "nothing happens"? Well at least now you won't wait until next Monday, building yourself up all week just to be let down by nothing happening (so far)... Yeah, but still, I'd rather just not know anything.
