In May of 2011, Ring of Honor made the groundbreaking announcement that the Sinclair Broadcasting Group had purchased the rights to the television broadcasting of Ring of Honor Wrestling.
The announcement was huge. It means that ROH will now be viewed by a national television audience, including ABC, MyNetworkTV, CW, FOX, CBS, and NBC affiliates across the United States. To see where Ring of Honor Wrestling is being shown in your area, click HERE!
Although receiving both a high-profile television deal and mainstream acclaim, ROH still promises to base their wrestling on their code of honor. Their ethics. Their rules. Which of course are:
1. You must shake hands before and after every match
2. No outside interference: no interfering in others' matches or having others interfere on your behalf
3. No sneak attacks
4. No harming the officials
5. Any action resulting in a disqualification violates the Code of Honor
The first show will take place on September 10.
