The cups have hit Vaughan. Just picked up a Randy Orton Big Gulp cup, pretty sick. I think they used different material this year for the cups though. I asked the clerk about the straws, he said they came with no straws so It looks like we don't get the straws.

SPORTSPICK FIGURE GAME:
Ok so I made up this little game I play with my sports figures. It could also be done with cards. I'm only interested in NHL, but you could easily do it for another sport. Just adjust the rules accordingly for your league.
Basically, I put a figure from each team into a bucket (dividing into conferences). I draw out 8 figs per conference. The order of figs (teams) I draw out of the bucket is the order of their seeding. First figure (1) plays the last figure (8), (2 vs. 7) and so on.
Is what I do is flip a coin to see who wins each game. Heads is the higher seed, tails is the lower seed. Since I do NHL, it's a best of 7 coin toss. Sometimes I also decide who wins each game by drawing and shuffling hockey cards. Dark jerseys represent the team with home advantage, white jerseys represent the lower seed.
After each round, I just reseed them and do it over again. I keep track of the results tournament brackets too.
Doesn't take more than 30 mins to complete the playoffs. Might be fun to play with friends.
I've got some really interesting results doing this. Boston and Vancouver have faced off 4 times in the Cup Final, and Vancouver has NEVER won. Also a bunch of times the Cup winner actually begins to have incredibly good luck, and even win the Cup multiple times in a row and form a dynasty.
I've currently played up to the year 2045.
I can post all my results if enough people are interested. Will be more interesting and realistic, I'm sure, once I have a figure from every team. Currently I only have players from 18 teams.
Does anybody have some other ideas on how to "play" with sports figures? I like doing this because it gives me a good "excuse" to look at my figures. Again, you can do it with cards too.
I'm obsessed with tournaments, ever since Survivor Series 98 Deadly Games.

^ I usually get them one by one, so that would mean I'll have to take 8 trips to 7-11 lol.

I just went on TRU.ca and searched WWE and I found
"Toys “R” Us has a great selection of WWE action figures and playsets to make a great collection. Whether you are looking for wwe flexforce action figures or wwe series #4 browse through our collection of WWE action figures to find more." So I think we will never get any new wwe series other then series 4. Also I don't think that TRU have a great selection of wwe figures or playsets imo. LOL!

Trying to picture the Toys R Us, I remember my GPS taking me to a Babies R Us, which was labelled TRU on the GPS. The TRU was right down the road, but still stupid GPS.
