Not really keen on how fast you got a TNA tryout.. crazy things do happen though. Good promo, calling out Kurt was probably a good idea, hopefully set up a feud between Kurt and yourself.
I really like what you're doing with this. I know it's been said by me and other people but i really enjoy your writing style.
Keep up the great work.

Great to see this back Kev. I read though it again and really enjoyed. Funny to see the Ace/Hart pairing in this SNW when they are the Duos champs in my SNW. I do feel that the write ups could be a bit longer. But apart from that everything else looks great, you got plenty of fueds yous can build up and I look forward to seeing how you book Hart in SNW. Sad to see you drop the other promotions, since it will now just be SNW. I'd like to see you pick up a real-life promotion like ROH to add the mix in since the mix made this a unquie diary in the beginning. Good luck and please keep this up this time around.

A Day At The Races
So my tryout match for TNA...excuse me, IMPACT Wrestling has come and gone and I was satisfied with the outcome. I lose in a dark match to another independent standout, Ring of Honor's El Generico in about seven minutes. It was a good back and forth match, although the crowd wasn't really into it. I did get to stick around backstage and I honestly wasn't happy with the way things were. The atmosphere in the locker room was pretty somber as the roster just doesn't seem to be enjoying themselves. Oh well, here in SNW they seem to be having a good, just like myself and Ace will tonight.
Backstage promo before our match tonight Kevin Hart: Tonight, The Smokin' Aces reunite. Former TCW Tag Team Champions, but here in SNW we've yet to make a splash. When we previously teamed, we weren't exactly on the same page. Now, we have similar goals. This includes taking out Henry Edwards, the infuriating politics in SNW, and of course, the SNW Title.
Ace Bennett: Kurt Angle is also on both of our radars. We happen to think that we are the two best wrestlers in the world, not some washed up hack who hasn't been relevant since 2006. But all of that is to come later, right now we are going to the ring and going to make an example out of Williams and Rejero. We will win the Clash of the Duos, and eventually, if we feel like it, we'll become Duos Champions.
Kevin Hart: Nobody can stop us because we are the best wrestlers on this planet. We'll rule Clash of the Duos and SNW if we want to. And don't think I haven't realized that Henry Edwards has yet to respond to anything I've said about him. He's keeping his tail between his legs and avoiding the inevitable.

Ace and I were both pleased with this match as it showed we haven't missed a beat despite not teaming up in such a long time. We honestly looked like a well oiled machine and we're ready for the Clash of the Duos. Anyway, I've been thinking about taking some bookings in some other independent promotions. Ring of Honor, Pro Wrestling Guerrilla, even Dragon Gate. I would love to work for any of those promotions. In SNW news though, Kurt Angle is coming for the next shows and I know what is planned for him and it will be amazing I promise you. Another teaser for you guys...Henry Edwards will also address the choice words I've had for him as of late.

First of all it's nice to see this back. Nice update, liked the remarks about the atmosphere in the TNA locker room. Enjoyed the story building towards Angle coming in. Looking forward to seeing where this goes and hope Kev Hart ends up in ROH soon.

Why no TNA try out write up, would have been intresting. Glad you aren't going to TNA though. Promo was decent maybe a bit basic, nothing there to make it really stand out like the previous promos. I'd like match write up, esp for the bigger matches when you get to them. Glad your thinking of more bookings, will be intresting to see where Kev ends up. The whole build towards angles with Angle and Edwards are going well. Keep this up.

Clash of the Duos 2011: Night One Live from the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City
Here it is. The weekend that I've been waiting for since I cut my big promo at "Family Reunion." Not only would "The Smokin' Aces reunite but we are getting closer and closer to Kurt Angle. All of this in the place that I saw my very first show ever. Night one is set to be the least explosive as we're working the Clash of the Duos Tournament. However, night two is set to involve some double duty from Ace Bennett and finally answer from Henry Edwards about all of the things I've said about him lately. The show begins and I'm sitting in the back with my heart beating out of my chest and for the first time in a long time, I'm getting nervous. It's a good nervous though, as I am pumped for this. Ace comes up to me and we're ready as we're set to open the show. Even with this, rumors are still swirling about my tryouts with TNA or WWE. I'm still not sure what my next move is because I know how much it means to make it to the big leagues, but I'm having some of the most fun I've ever had in SNW now. Oh well, Future Kevin can worry about that; it's show time.

The Somkin' Aces [Kevin Hart & Ace Bennett] defeated Incoherence in 11:16 after Frightmare was hit with a Syracuse Drop & 450 Splash [***] ________________________________________________________________ That was a lot of fun. Working with Ace Bennett is always fun as he's my favorite opponent and partner, but it was really special to get to work with guys that I never have before. Both Frightmare and Hallowicked are great and I enjoyed the chance to sit back and enjoy the rest of the show. It allowed me time to think about what I'm going to do in the future. Maybe before thinking about WWE or anything like that, I should look into other indies. I have always enjoyed Ring of Honor or maybe go west and look into PWG. I'm not entirely sure yet but I have options. One thing is for sure...I'm not going anywhere until my current angle with SNW is done.

Glad to see this back again Kev. I've read through the diary again, which was a great read, now I'm looking forward to where you take this. You've got plenty on with teaming with Ace, Kurt Angle and Henry Edwards and that's just SNW. I can't see you winning Clash of the Duos since you've already set up the Angle storyline. That is unless Edwards wrestles Angle, you and Ace interfere which leads to a tag match. On top of all that you've got the WWE offer and potential other indies. So I'm really looking forward to it. Keep this up. Good luck.

Clash of the Duos 2011: Night Two Live from the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City
After successfully teaming with Ace Bennett in the first leg of the Clash of the Duos Tournament we're set to open night two against two guys that I personally look up to, the Motor City Machine Guns. If that wasn't enough, something will go down with Henry Edwards tonight, all in my favorite arena. If I was nervous last night, it is nothing compared to how I feel right now. TNA, WWE, ROH, PWG...it's all so very far from my mind right now. There is nothing that can mess with my focus going into this thing. I meet up with Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin to go over the match and of course, they're as cool as I hoped. We go out and the crowd is rocking. __________________________________________________________________________________________________ The Motor City Machine Guns defeat The Smokin' Aces in 14:44 after Kevin Hart fell to Made in Detroit.__________________________________________________________________________________________________ Boy, that was a lot of fun. Working with Sabin and Shelley was amazing as they just have a wealth of knowledge from their travels. Ace and I both learned a lot and we went out and put on a great match, probably my favorite tag team match I've ever competed in. But this show was far from over. After a few more awesome matches, SNW Champion Henry Edwards came out to address me. He basically went out and said that he never had a problem with me but all of a sudden I had an issue with him because I was supposedly being held back. I had heard enough of him and decided to confront him. Kevin Hart: Listen Henry, this is not some random new issue that I have with you. I haven't liked you or how you're the golden boy of SNW for a long time now. I've just been the kind of guy to keep his mouth shut and his thoughts to himself. However, once the SNW crowd decided to call me a "sellout" and turn their backs on me, I decided to be the kind of guy who say what's on his mind. And what's on my mind is that, day in and day out, I am one of, if not the very best wrestler in SNW, but YOU are given all of the opportunities. It's been eating at me since I earned the chance to get a title shot whenever I wanted. You, Henry Edwards, are not better than me and I am just dying to prove it to these idiots. Henry responded by agreeing to face me right then and there in a match and of course, I had to accept. __________________________________________________________________________________________________ Non-Title: Kevin Hart defeats SNW Champion Henry Edwards in 19:11 with a school boy and a handful of tights.__________________________________________________________________________________________________ The crowd at the Hammerstein Ballroom boo me loudly as I celebrated my win. Just what we were going for. A cheap win, in a very good match, and some massive heat. It all worked out for the best. I got the chance to step into the ring with the best that SNW has to offer and more than rose to the occasion. There is still a lot left to do in this storyline/program as we're just scratching the surface. Later on in the show, Kurt Angle came out and addressed the words that both Ace and I have had for him and he was answered by Ace. They went on to main event the show with an awesome one on one match that Kurt Angle was victorious in. All in all, I had an awesome night and the show was great. Night three should be huge just as well and it's something I cannot wait for.

It's mad seeing my own graphics, I love that CoD pic. Good that you didn't just push Ace and Hart to the finals, could have been a bit tedious. Although, I must question the decision to have Hart wrestle two matches in one night, and win the second. I know he won by cheating and it was more of a lead up but it might have been better to save it till the third night. I guess you got something mega planned for the third night, I guess it involves Angle. Good luck and keep this up.

Clash of the Duos 2011: Night Three Live from the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City
Night Three of the 2011 Clash of the Duos is upon us and it has indeed been the biggest weekend of my career thus far. While Ace Bennett and I came up just shy during the actual Duos Tournament, facing the Motor City Machine Guns was a bit of a dream come true. Things got very interesting though when I was finally able to confront Henry Edwards. We wrestled one hell of a match and I got the cheap win. Tonight, however, I would also get to complete a dream. I get to main event in the historic Hammerstein Ballroom. Earlier today on SNW's website, it was announced that following the Finals of the Clash of the Duos, the Smokin' Aces would team up against Kurt Angle and Henry Edwards. Talks with the WWE have honestly stalled for right now and I'm 100% focused on the task at hand. I'm sweating, my stomach is turning and my nerves are shot because tonight is huge. _____________________________________________________________________________ Henry Edwards and Kurt Angle def. The Smokin' Aces in 22:11____________________________________________________________________________ Well I am truly pleased with how that match turned out. First off, working Kurt Angle is just as great as I expected. He's so seamless in the ring that even though we'd never faced off before, it went smooth. Ace and I had the crowd in the palm of our hand as we worked over Edwards until he made the hot tag to Angle and the roof nearly blew off of the Hammerstein Ballroom. After such a huge Triple Shot weekend, there is no SNW for a bit, so I'm heading down to Twin Cities Wrestling where I'll be back in tag team action. Ace and I are done there, but I'll be with the “Ace of Diamonds” Tommy Diamond. Talented guy that I've never teamed with before, so I'm more than intrigued about how this will work.
