A little over a year ago, I gave up collecting WWE figures. Mostly because I don't really care for any of the current wrestlers. So I started to lose interest fast & just gave up altogether. I was wondering if there are any figures I should check out, & most importantly if I should start collecting again. Thanks.

What figures there are to collect would depend highly on who you like to seet. If you're like me and enjoy the Attitude Era more than the current one, then I'd highly recommend picking up RSC Masked Kane, Defining Moments Triple H/Steve Austin/Undertaker, and Legends Rock/Steve Austin.
If you're a fan of some of the bigger legends, then get Legends 5 Macho Man, All-Stars Macho Man, Defining Moments Macho Man, Defining Moments Ultimate Warrior, the forthcoming Legends 6 Ultimate Warrior, Legends 6 Eddie Guerrero, and Defining Moments Ricky Steamboat. Figure prices have only gotten higher in the last year, but if you have the extra to spend on figures, I think you should get back into collecting. The Defining Moments are probably the best stuff Mattel has to offer at this point (Elite-style articulation plus fantastic outfits/accessories).

They look sweet MOC or loose and it's a line of main-eventers only.

No, don't collect. If you gave it up because you don't like today's superstars then don't resume. Most of the product that get released are the modern guys with a few legends waves a year.

I'd say yes. Collect Legends. Even if they will be few and far between, the quality figures Mattel is putting out is worth it.

If you do collect, collect legends. That was you are getting some new figures but not breaking the bank by spending a ton every month since they are not released that often like the Basics and Elites are.

Yeah I agree with the suggestions that you could collect Legends. I don't buy much of the new talent besides Divas nowadays myself.

That's what I do. I don't collect the current superstars. Only Legends. But you know what- it's up to you. How bad do you want to?

Well with Legends being altered in some yet-to-be announced way, and Defining Moments being released only every so often as well, it might actually be a relaxed sort of collecting if you're only interested in past stars. You won't have a bunch of sets coming out every few months, which does add up over time. That might be something to think about. We don't know what they're doing with Legends other than sales are low and they have a new strategy to be revealed at SDCC in a few weeks.

I don't think you should. It seems like you dont like the newer superstars enough to spend the money on having them in figure form. Maybe you could collect WWE trading cards instead, a similar hobby but a LOT cheaper.

It all depends on what you like to collect. Some guys are hardcore and buy up every figure from every set, but I'd reckon most are probably like me and just buy the guys they like. Nothing wrong with that. Whatever makes you happy.
