Goof Off. Apply it to a cotton ball, wipe it away in one direction then quickly run it under hot water and dry with a towel

If they're true stains from the jacket then they'll never come out, if it's just paint then use some acetone

Thanks! Looks like I gotta get some of this stuff. Never seen it before. Goof Off. Apply it to a cotton ball, wipe it away in one direction then quickly run it under hot water and dry with a towel

Mine is all messed up too. I display it with the jacket anyway, so I don't care. But I'd like to get the marks off.

Well I tried Goo Gone and it doesn't work, the stain is right under the jacket, on the bare leg while facing the figure. If they're true stains from the jacket then they'll never come out, if it's just paint then use some acetone

The stain is like an 1 inch line that goes right across the leg. Is yours like that? Mine is all messed up too. I display it with the jacket anyway, so I don't care. But I'd like to get the marks off.

The Ryder I got yesterday also has stains from the jacket but mine are on both shoulders. They are almost a perfect line right where the sleeves are attached to the main part of the jacket. I tried my normal method to remove this kind of stuff and it didn't work very well. But much like JCF, I'm planning on displaying with the jacket on anyway so it won't bother me too much.

Lol, I just checked the shoulders and yup, there are 2 more stains. Looks like it's from the thread that is sown on the edges that are causing this. I hope Mattel stops packaging figs with the clothing on. The Ryder I got yesterday also has stains from the jacket but mine are on both shoulders. I tried acetone... That didn't work either. It actually lightened the skin where I tried it on my one Ryder so I didn't mess the stain with my other Ryder figure. The black stain actually looks like it's under the skin. I hope MATTEL TAKES NOTE of this problem because I thought I was the only one to have this problem, but I guess not.

I'm really surprised and bummed to hear that acetone won't remove stains like this. I have several wwe figs I wanted to try it on, as well as a Marvel Studios Punisher fig. That sucks.

Yes once the cloth stains a figure it's not coming out unless you were sand/dremel away enough of the plastic down to a level that it hadn't bled to. Because it's not just on the surface like a paint stain it's bled into the plastic. Mine also had a slight stain on the left shoulder from it. but it's not that noticeable

Oh that's great. I'm looking to buy the figure and use it for my Pic-Fed. If it's stained, there goes that.

Supposedly doll owners use benzoyl peroxide (zit cream). Never tried it but you can google it or test on an unwanted figure. They put on a thin layer then wash it away with soap & water the next day. Don't get it near painted areas. Cloth stains are a common problem because the companies are too cheap to wash away the excess dye. I know some 1/6 figure collectors soak cloth items in a bowl of warm water and mild soap, then rinse and let dry. It usually prevents further staining.

Damn, I thought I was the only one with a messed up Zack Ryder figure. It's really not a big deal unless you display figures without the original clothing. But I am a perfectionist and looking for another Zach Ryder figure lol.

Hmm, I thought the marks on the arm of my Ryder were paint since they were so dark, but just tried to acetone them and no luck, they're ink. Oh well, they're not very noticeable and I'm sure I can find a forearm to swap with eventually
