Clearly the jury dropped the ball here, not the judicial system.... so you guys freaking out and going all UGHH OMG AMERICAS LEGAL SYSTEM!11!! get the over yourself; you obviously don't understand how the legal system works. They had a trial, somewhere along the way, the defense did a really good job, or the prosecution did a poor one, leading to the jury (whether or not it is a bad verdict) to decide she wasn't guilty. It's not like the judge can just go "you know what bitch, you did it, we're gonna hang you!" It's not a flawed system, it just has people in it, and people make mistakes.

Maximum of 4 years, Nancy Grace said she'll probably do 1 year. Ughh.

Maximum of 4 years, Nancy Grace said she'll probably do 1 year. Ughh. If that, they'll probably count the years she's served already toward her sentence. .... then she'll have a reality show on TLC in less than a year.

How ridiculous is it that this bitch will most likely spend less time than Plaxico Burress, when Burress shot himself, while this bitch killed her kid.

Couldn't have said it any better. I do believe she was guilty, but apparently the jury had something different in mind. Really surprised by this ruling. Really, really surprised.

^ So, I ask again, if she didn't kill her daughter, then who did?? Oh no, I agree completely, she did it, but the fact remains, she wasn't convicted of it, not because the judicial system is broken or crappy, but because people are. That's the point I'm trying to make, people are the problem, not the system itself.

She got a tattoo that said "the good life" while her daughter was dead. She was out partying while her child was "missing." Shes shown no remorse throughout this entire trial. She searched chloroform. A decomposing body smell emitting from her car. How can anybody not think shes guilty?!?!?!

I knew they wouldn't convict her, the evidence was circumstantial at best and the testimony by the Anthony family made it even worse. In my opinion they were all in on this and made sure Casey would go free. If we end up seeing a nice little X-Mas photo featuring the entire Anthony family at the end of the year, I would not be surprised.
In the end, a child killer got away free. Proves the system doesn't work sometimes, but it was down to the jury and they probably thought like I did with the circumstantial evidence. If there was more proof, she'd be done. The end.

And some of the jury actually have children and yet, they just let the killer walk free....I just don't get it.
I wonder if they would ever let her babysit their children....

I am literally in awe. This is beyond belief, no justice at all for Caylee. This case is the example of what's wrong with America.

Here is what pisses me off most: her complete relief at the verdict. If she really didn't do it, and she really loved her daughter, I think she'd be sad that she was dead (apparently mysteriously), and not completely and totally relieved that she got off

It's not enough to "know" or "think" she's guilty. They didn't do a great job of proving it. I think most people believe she did do it.

I disagree with the verdict but the system works. Agreed. I havent followed this very closely but from what Im hearing the Prosecution never could provide any proof that it was done by her. Im not really surprised that she was Not Guilty of 1st Degree Murder but I am surprised she got off on the Manslaughter and Child Abuse charges.

She searched chloroform. A decomposing body smell emitting from her car. How can anybody not think shes guilty?!?!?! And 3 out of 5 of those pieces of "evidence" prove nothing. The fact that they made such a big deal about the tattoo is preposterous. That's not evidence, it's twisting something into nothing. A tattoo's meaning is not a knife in someone's hand. It's an attempt at poetically drawing sympathy, and it failed. Don't get me wrong, I like everyone else feel something is amiss, especially in the state of Florida where some of the country's biggest "average dopes" come from, but the prosecution made a weak case. Not half a**ed, not incomplete, just weak. The tattoo thing would have been enough for me, as a juror, to roll my eyes.
