Scream 4
Wanted to see this one for ages, as the first one is a huge guilty pleasure of mine. Also, I have a MAD crush on Emma Roberts even though she sucks as an actress. Some parts I loved, some I hated. The first act was great, I loved the token Stab intro(s) and the setting was picturesque as usual for the franchise. Bit too hip in terms of all the technological nods such as Facebook and vlogging and the ending was far more predictable than in the other movies. Perhaps that's a sign that the franchise has overstayed its welcome since every scenario seems to have been done. Started off great, ending pretty poorly. 5.5/10

Yeah man! My main worry was that it would just seem like an extended TV episode, but it was so much more. Really did cohere as a film, and did feel cinematic. |

Ace Ventura Pet Detective on DVD. Great movie overall. Must've seen this movie dozens of times by now and still doesn't get old. Still as great as ever. 8/10
