I just watched the fighter. I thought it was a really good movie. Melissa Leo was just fantastic. Mark wahlberg was solid. I dislike christian bale, and I think he sucks as batman, but he was really ing great in this movie. I mean, his performance was insane. There were some parts I didnt like though. One, this one is me, but I think Amy Adams is a really terrible actress. I mean shes been horrible in every movie I have seen her in. This one is no exception. And the second thing I didnt like was the music. I thought most of the music in the movie was awful and I felt like the music in the last scene was AWFUL and completely unnecessary. It took away from the whole experience. Also, the training montages ing sucked. Overall it was a pretty good movie though. I'd give it an 8/10

The Tree Of Life - 3/5
Aesthetically pleasing, but that still cannot prevent this from being a dud. Made no sense, and I just found myself waiting for it to end.

Insidious - Excellent horror film and it might be my favorite this year. The 1st half builds everything extremely well and while the 2nd half is a bit cheesy/campy it still gets the point across very well. I thoroughly recommend this to any horror fan out there. 8/10
The Lincoln Lawyer - I went in with the thought that it was going to be another court room drama movie but it turned out better then expected. Good cast and great story really helped this exceed expectations, worth a watch if you like court room movies or if you like a good drama movie from time to time. 6/10

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 Note: A few spoilers are included but they've been whited out. So don't highlight if you don't want to know.
I want to be able to put into words just how I feel about it, but I'm still so psyched that I'm afraid I'm unable to. It's an amazing finale to what will probably go down as my favorite movie franchise of all time. The whole time I had a surge of emotions: excited to be watching another Harry Potter movie, sad that it was the last movie, etc. They didn't really change/add much to this one, so fans who were annoyed with that in the last couple of movies should be happy about that. (I actually loved all the added/altered stuff from Half Blood Prince. I thought it took the original material and conveyed that message in a much more exciting way.) Only thing that stood out to me in that respect was The movie opens with a quick shot of Snape, now headmaster of Hogwarts, watching as the students march to class in a silent, organized fashion. It's a cool way to open the movie, IMO, and up there with the equally quick shot of Dumbledore/Harry at the beginning of Half Blood Prince as my two favorite openings of the series. The only major things that were in the seventh book that didn't make it into either movie were Dumbledore's book is mentioned/seen very briefly in Part 1 but is never addressed here. So his past with Grindlewald never comes up in the movies. Which is fine with me. The sections of the book that were excerpts of Dumbledore's biography kind of slowed things down and there wouldn't have been much of a way to convey the info in the movies without stopping the story for a complete info dump. Also, one of the most extreme moments in the whole book sereis, where the burning sorting hat is placed on Neville Longbottom's head does not occur in the movie. It was one of my favorite scenes in the book, but unfortunately, I can see how that would have been too extreme for this movie. Neville really stands out as a hero of this film though. This was the first time I've ever seen a movie where people in the audience cheered/applauded. They did so on three different occasions: 1.) When Molly uttered her famous line, "Not my daughter you bitch," the crowd cheered. When Bellatrix subsequently died, they applauded. 2.) When Neville chopped Nagini in half. 3.) As the credits began. I was surprised that they didn't respond to the death of Voldemort.
My only complaint about the film is the same one I had about the first part: they still don't feel enough like two separate films. The first one feels like you're watching everything be set up and then it ends before all of that can be resolved; this one feels like you're tuning into a movie that's 2/3 of the way through. Rightfully so, and I know that's bound to happen when you split a book into two movies, but I wish they could have done more to make them seem more like standalone tales.

Source Code. One of the best movies I've seen this year. I plan on purchasing it on Blu-ray.

This is Spinal Tap and Dog Day Afternoon. Both were perfect movies. I have nothing bad to say about either. Honestly, Al Pacino may have put on one of the best performances I have ever seen in this movie. He was just downright brilliant. I'd give both 10s.

Harry Potter 8/10 I was hopping that the Bella and Molly battle would of last a little longer and I wanted it to be like in the book where Luna, Hermione and Ginny were fighting Bella..
