harrison bergeron
good plot with dystopian concept that was not well complimented by it's made for tv format and bad acting. still, had it's moments.

This Is 40 I'm a sucker for Apatow movies. watching Apatow movies definitely makes you a sucker alright lol, I kid, I kid...havent seen that one I like some he's produced & a few of his writing (Heavy Weights, Fun With Dick & Jane, Walk Hard) but not Funny People & not Knocked Up... |

This Is 40 I'm a sucker for Apatow movies. watching Apatow movies definitely makes you a sucker alright lol, I kid, I kid...havent seen that one I like some he's produced & a few of his writing (Heavy Weights, Fun With Dick & Jane, Walk Hard) but not Funny People & not Knocked Up... His work can be self-aggrandizing, but it's different enough to separate itself from other comedies in the last decade. I didn't care for Funny People when I saw it at first, but once I saw it again I appreciated it for what it was. Knocked Up was pretty good. My favorite part of the movie was Paul Rudd and Leslie Mann, which was why I loved This Is 40 so much. |

Frozen - 3.5/5
I finally got around to seeing the Disney film that has permeated so much of our popular culture since its release. I enjoyed the musical numbers--more so than I had expected--which made Frozen feel more like an old school Disney flick, which wasn't a bad thing at all. Some of the characters were a bit flat, especially the film's villain; however, where many characters lacked any sort of gusto, there were some memorable characters as well.
