A Kiss Before Dying 2 out of 5 The wife picked this film. I thought it would be horrible but I was pleasantly surprised. I gave this film a 2 because I went in expecting nothing and ended up entertained. There was plenty in this movie that I thought was weak but I can't bash it much because my expectations where low to begin with. The Purge Anarchy 1.5 out of 5 This film just made little sense to me. In the first Purge movie we see what happens to a wealthy family. So I could kind of make sense of things. In this second Purge film the backdrop is not a wealthy family's home, the backdrop is a poor Urban area. It just left me scratching my head and made me have a long list of questions. Why wouldnt the poor just go kill the wealthy? How is it possible that hospitals are open right on the second the purge ends? Are Hospital safe zones? Wouldnt all who are stuck being hunted run to a Hospital if it is a safe zone? Do film makers really think Americans would turn to random violence that quickly? I did however like the introduction of a rebel group and the people behind the black Semi trucks. I don't get why you're scratching your head. The poor can't just go kill the wealthy because they don't all have access to weapons and all of the rich have highly secured homes, if you saw in the first one. The only reason other rich people killed each other in the first was because they took in that poor guy. The purge ends at a certain time and that was well over a minute after the purge ended by the time they got to the hospital so everything begins to open again. And the purge had been going for years so I do think eventually that people would, and it's a movie.. That's like asking.. Do you really think Jurassic park could happen? Lol In the first movie a pack of teens disables the electricity to the rich guys Mansion, and then they easily take out the shutters/barricades. So any homeless/poor person can disable a home's security. Also Hospitals are not magical places where robots cure you. Hospitals require employees, no employee will risk their life to get to work on time during the purge, so again I ask..... Are Hospitals safe zones? If people are calling 911 or trying to go to the hospital the minute after the purge ends that means Police/Fire/Nurses/Doctors/Dispatchers/Hospital Staff are all already at work and ready/waiting for people to call/come. So what keeps hospital staff from stealing from the hospital or killing co workers? It must mean Hospitals/Police Stations/Fire houses/call centers are all safe zones.

I could never watch a New Sandler movie again. Grown Ups, Grown Ups 2, Click, Zohan, That's my boy, Jack and Jill, adn Funny people were all HORRIBLE. First person I've heard not like Click. Opinions vary I guess. I saw Gone Girl yesterday, and holy sh**. 8.5/10 Click is where, I think, his movies started going down hill. Sandler is a very LAZY writer. He opts for the easiest joke which is often the least funny. If you notice he always makes fun of fat people. It might be funny every now and then but EVERY one of his movies has a fat joke. It's laziness.

Or So that means government employees can kill citizens but citizens can not kill government? It makes no sense.

Interstellar. Loved the intellectual side but was greatly annoyed by the emotional.

Silver Linings Playbook.
I watched it on Netflix. It was a lot better than I thought it was going to be. I always tend to watch movies/TV shows when they're no longer relevant.

Happy Valley (a documentary about the Sandusky scandal) and Life of Crime
Enjoyed both a great deal. Life of Crime is set in the 70's and has a loaded cast. I love me some Isla Fisher...

Transformers: Age of Extinction
I was disappointed in this. I was honestly bored with it and felt it just drug on. So much so I didn't watch the last 44 minutes. It lacked heart.
Let's Be Cops
I honestly really enjoined this one. Had a lot of funny bits.

Amazing Film. That's all there really is to say. The soundtrack made the movie even better. I had no idea what this movie was except for a quick little 1 sentence plot and knowing that the people who made (You're Next) did it. I thought it was going to be some horror movie but I was blown away by what I got instead. I would highly recommend it when you have the chance to watch a movie. Just watched this, along with the raid 2 its probably the film I've enjoyed watching the most. Just a bad ass film, remined me of a cool 80's or 90's action film with a cool lead, i had a blast. Birdman is the best film I've watched all year though for sure, incredible. Watched still Alice last night decent watch, but Julianne Moore's performance was Oscar worthy, she might well win it this year. Purge 2, decent but nothing special. St Vincent was another good performance from Bill Murray.

Godzilla
Decent. Thought a lot of the scenes were too dark.
A Merry Friggin Christmas
This movie gets crapped on but Robin Williams is great as usual.

A classic. I'd be lying if I didn't get a bit teary-eyed at the ending. Seeing this movie makes me miss John Candy so very much. I wish he was still here.

Watching the Grumpy Cat movie now. It's in the running for worst movie I've ever seen. Can't deny there were a lot of good one liners in there though. Especially all of the shots taken at Lifetime. Mom: "Those guys...they didn't...do anything to you, did they?" Daughter: "No, I'm fine." Grumpy: "Yeah...that would be a different kind of Lifetime movie." So wrong on about 10 different levels but I almost fell out of my seat. Watching the Grumpy Cat movie now. It's in the running for worst movie I've ever seen. Grumpy Cat's Worst Christmas Ever. I'm gonna need a copy of this. It's fabulously terrible, but Grumpy Cat is my soul animal so...yeah. Oh sweet mother of Moses, there's a Grumpy Cat movie? Dear god..... Yes. It was terrible. But amazing.

But yeah....it was too long and the explanation of where Sideswipe, Roadbuster, Topsin, Dino and the rest were annoyed the sh*t outta me.

Theory of Everything.
Very, very good. It'll easily get Oscar nominations for Best Picture, Best Actor, and Best Actress.
