They are aimed towards children, not collectors. As a toy company, children are a MUCH larger part of their market than collectors. Flex Force and Rumblers probably make them more money than Basic and Elites.

They suck. They are just as expensive as a Basic figure by themselves or as much as an Elite if they come with an accessory, and most of them don't even have legs that bend at the knees!!!!!!
They lack the articulation of even a basic figure, and their "action move" is gimmicky and not enough to make up for their other downfalls.
I say get rid of the line and either drop the prices on the other figures or re-allocate the Flex Force money into adding even more details in the Basic and Elite lines so I actually get my $11.99 and $16.99 worth instead of paying that much for a figure who's only accessory is a microphone.
I don't love them, but I don't think they suck either. Plus they seem to be moving very well around here. I've seen every new wave of them hit in a timely manor. And while every store has them on the pegs they are always different assortments every time I look. Where the other lines have all had waves that were skipped at certian stores, because they have some pegwamers. Luckily between TRU/Target/WalMart/KMart I've been able to find all the figures I've been looking for. If one retailer didn't get a series I've been able to find it at one of the other 3 retailers.
But as for an answer to your poll I'd guess I have to pick I love them, because there were certain ones I've picked up because I buy every Triple H, Orton, Punk just to name a few.
As a kid in the 70;s other than GI Joe & Mego Superheroes lines everything I had was limited articulation (Star Wars, Heroes in Action) or none at all. (Plastic army men) or Matchbox/Hot Wheels/Tonka
I cant believe kids like these. As a kid I would have absolutely hated the limited articulation for playing.
I agree bro...some of the Flex Forces actually remind me of Hasbro's because the legs and arms are stuck in the position that makes "action move" possible.
I just don't understand how they are aimed at kids and are the same price as Basic and Elite!
So I can pay $9-$11 for a basic figure of the Miz with moving arms and legs....OR I can pay the same $9-$11 dollars for a Flex Force figure of the Miz that has legs that don't move?
Saying that these are aimed at kids must mean that Mattel thinks kids are stupid and have ADD that makes them drawn to moving parts and shiny colors.
The only reason Flex Force is probably selling as well as Mattel claims they are selling is because by the time kids get to the store with their parents to buy WWE figures, Flex Force are the only things that are left after the adult collectors and scalpers have got everything else, so the kid only has Flex Force to choose from.

They're a money maker for sure, but I just didn't like the series. So, my mother said, "are there any figures you don't need?" We went downstairs, I picked out Matt and Randy, and my stepdad strapped fireworks to them.

They remind me of the bcas. I remember at christmas time getting bcas and being so disappointed because they just werent fun to play with.
I don't care for them there is 3 stores around here that carry them I don't think one has sold since Jan 1 2010. The rumblers do good here but Flex Force not so much most of it is sitting on clearance at my Kmart.
I don't see the point in another 'hate Flex Force' thread. Mattel said they are one of the better selling lines and are going to continue. If everyone's precious Legends line sold as well as Flex Force maybe we wouldn't be in the uncertain Legends mess we are now.

I don't love this Mattel line. In my opinion, it's the worst ever line made by Mattel. No details on the figures (CM Punk = No tattoos), limited articulation etc.
I cant believe kids like these. As a kid I would have absolutely hated the limited articulation for playing.
They don't have any affect on me really. Haven't bought one yet. I skip over them like I would any other figure that I don't collect. But just cause something may not interest me doesn't mean I automatically have to hate it.
Think of it this way. For a line that requires less details, but makes the most money, means more money that could be spent on the other figures with more detail.
Flexforce and Rumblers are making Mattel money. Kids are gobbling this crap up. I hate this crap but it sells.
If only Legends were selling like this, maybe make Flexforce Legends? I'm only kidding.
I gave you a handshake of kharma for this.
Exactly. I really don't like FlexForce. But the more they sell, the more money they bring in for more Legends, Exclusives and other figures that won't sell nearly as well, but will be worshipped by us collectors.
