That's really it? He even mentioned Jeter. Not too sure what it means, but whatever. Essentially, yeah, bro. It's basically a long-standing rivalry. And me being a Yankees fan... let's just say I'm glad I'm 1800 miles from Boston. Are you a idiot? That's not it at all. The Yankees and the Red Sox have been rivals for years, stemming from Babe Ruth. You're a ing idiot.

Hope we get some twist of an ending at the PPV, so they can keep all this hype going. They're producing great TV ATM.

If, after tonight, WWE doesn't realize that the people want wrestling and not the same crapweek in and week out, I don't think they ever will TBH. I appreciate WWE for what it is, but usually Raw is background noise for me and tonight I couldn't keep my eyes off the screen. The show tonight is the show that i want to see every night. That emotional and that exciting.

I think it's fair to say that the "If Cena Wins, We Riot" sign is going to get a dusting off for this weekend...

I have a good feeling Punk's winning.
The WWE isn't STUPID. The KNOW when to pull the trigger. See: RVD @ One night Stand 2.

to all those saying WWE are stupid to let him go, I really doubt that's the case. Either Punk doesn't want to be there anymore, OR he's re-signed. Vince is a great character, an innovator, but above all he's a business man. Punk has rendered pro wrestling the most relevant it has been in years. In one promo, he managed to have the crowd behind him and hanging on his every word, whilst the top babyface and hometown hero stood there almost lifeless by comparison (and I say that as a big fan of Cena). I don't doubt that much of what we saw tonight was simply a reenactment of what has recently gone on behind the scenes.
Punk = $$$. he's this era's Austin. Vince wouldn't simply 'let' him go.

First time in a while I am considering ordering a non-Wrestlemania PPV.
But if you guys think Punk is actually going to walk, you're insane. I'd bet the contract has already been signed.
Vince didn't go intellectually- disabled overnight. No way he would allow the guy the tv time to get himself this over, just to have some other place reap the benefits of it.

John Cena winning this Sunday would likely go down as one of the single biggest mistakes WWE could ever make.
They've got millions riding on this angle, a world to gain, and everything to lose. If Cena wins, they blow it, end of story.

After all this tremendous build-up, having Cena win or someone cash in would be incredibly bush league.

For all the people that have just now jumped on the CM Punk bandwagon who have been hating on him for years, THIS is why most of us were so excited to see him in WWE. I knew he could get this huge if given the ball. He's got the ball and scored a touchdown the last 2 times he's been given the live mic at the end of RAW. He's exactly right. He doesn't fit the mold. But that's what makes him so damn good. It just makes me ashamed that WWE doesn't see that and will just let him walk. He's the hottest thing in the company right now. He's what the people want. He's the second Steve Austin in a lot of ways
*Patiently waits for WWE to ruin it, have SuperMan Cena to kill him at MitB, and let Punk walk*

That was even better than his shoot. So much emotion. Punk is a master at selling this match. Punk has made wrestling the most entertaining it has been in years.

The idea of Cena winning is what's got me so on the damn fence about ordering this show.
As much as I would love to hand WWE my $50 as a thank you for actually going through with something as brilliant and entertaining as this, I'm so terrified to cough up all that cash just to see Cena get a clean win and move on like nothing ever happened.
If Cena wins, it will effectively kill the emotional wrestling high I've been riding on for weeks, but if Cena wins and I paid to see it, I'm going to feel absolutely cheated.
