Was bored so I was on Fwoosh and then noticed this... www.actionfigurepics.com/2011/07/ask-matty-qa-round-up-for-71#more-140165) I was a little surprised not to see a WWE exclusive for SDCC, and there are a number of rumors floating around on the message boards. How’s the WWE Legends line doing with collectors and the broader market? It is doing great and we will have more to announce at SDCC. Legends Line safe afterall?

I hope so. Honestly I only know one Target where they sit. Otherwise they usually fly off the shelves here.

Uh yeah, sometimes the people answering these questions are just toeing the company line. I think the Mattel reps that post directly on there forums are a little more realistic.

It betta hadda. However, considering we essentially got three different answers to the same question spread over three people in the last Q and A....I'm going to go out on a limb and say that nobody has an effing clue what's going on over there yet.

Man oh Man i hope thats so true..... but in all fairness, the first 2 lines were the suck ass ones that they are probably still basing "poor sales" on..... i think L4 and L5 got the line some serious attention....

Here (TN) legends series 1 sold very well. Legends 2 did ok mainly Jake and Kamala was the two you could not find. Legends 3 sold very well but now we are getting extra shipments of them. Legends 4 sold extremely well with only a few left around. Legends 5 I have only seen 2 Bam Bam's I bought one of them and 1 Martel otherwise we have not seen them at all. Legends 6 same story but I am not sure if they have even hit retail yet.

Legends 3, 4, and 5 have sold very well here. I actually recall Hacksaw being the only Series 3 figure I've even seen at retail. I saw most of Legends 4, aside from Ax, on the first day that K-Mart put out their little display, and i went to TRU today to find just 1 Mach, 2 Bam Bam's, 2 Martel's, and 1 Akeem still there. The one's that really aren't selling are the DM Warriors, Rocks, and Steamboats.

Legends...they're so good, they're terrible.
Seriously though, out of the figures in the TRU Vince McMahon pdq, the only legends I found were a few DMs which are prohibitively expensive.

the more legends the better as far as i'm concerned. no point speculating on it too much at this point though, might as well just wait to see what they say at SDCC

I don't see anything different in that answer than the "wait until comic con" answer where it's uncertain what will happen

I collect only legends and I truly hope that the line will continue forever! It´s been such a great series thus far, Mattel has completely owned Jakks CS!

Series 3 can't have sold that well if tons of them ended up at discount stores for $10.
