Coming LIVE from the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California!
Singles Competition
EBR vs. Adam Chartbuster
Apollo Creed was an illustrious and prestigious champion, but on New Year’s Day in 1976 he faced a universally unknown man who never even had a chance to have a prime. That day dramatically altered history. In a match made by King Kraig, former XWA wrestler and Alex Sean’s cousin Adam Chartbuster gets the chance to revive his career as he faces the Heavyweight Champion of the WFWF, EBR. This type of opportunity only comes once in a life time; will Adam Chartbuster be able to shock the world?
Singles Competition
Alex Sean vs. Shawn Malakai
The previous was not the only match made by King Kraig. After Alex Sean expressed his goal to reclaim his Heavyweight Championship he was interrupted by Kraig, telling him that despite his status as the number one contender, he needed a proper tune up before facing EBR. He gets that and then some when he faces current International Champion Shawn Malakai who looks to continue his recent wave of success. Will Alex Sean once again outsmart King Kraig by winning the match that was specifically made by the President & CEO, or will Shawn Malakai “save” the WFWF of Alex Sean, surely putting himself in King Kraig’s good graces?
Singles Competition
Ace Bennett vs. Phillip Schneider
To cap off “Something’s Gotta Give” Ace Bennett took the mic, addressing where he believes he stands in the WFWF. Never short of confidence, Bennett proceeded to address Phillip Schneider, and after declaring them the “heart of the soul of the WFWF”, challenged him to a match – no weapons, just two men facing for bragging rights. When pressed for comment it came to no one’s surprise that Phillip Schneider accepted. In perhaps the most intriguing match of the show, will Ace Bennett still hold rights to the moniker of “the Streak Destroyer” when the night ends, or will Phillip Schneider show that, much like Johnny Knight, calling him out is not the best career move?
Number One Contendership to the International Title
Thunder vs. Oscar Conrad Davidson
While “Attack! Of The Little Green Men 2” looked to be the last we would see of Thunder in a WFWF ring after being betrayed and subsequently beaten for his International Title, the WFWF Hall of Famer quickly answered all questions at “Something’s Gotta Give”, informing Yukio Blaze that until his rematch clause is enabled his contract cannot be terminated. Unfortunately for him, it’s never that simple, and in order to achieve his re-match he must first get through the upstart Oscar Conrad Davidson, fresh off an unlikely victory over Trace Demon on the same show. For Thunder it’s the chance to not only seek revenge against Yukio Blaze and Shawn Malakai, but save his career. While for Oscar Conrad Davidson? He already beat one former Heavyweight Champion to begin his rise in the WFWF. Why not do it again?
Singles Competition
Hutton Brown vs. Cameron Stone
The National Champion continues to make his mark on the WFWF, and after wrestling Ace Bennett to a draw and being awarded with the Match of the Night, still happens to have never tasted defeat. At “OJ Didn’t Do It” he looks to continue that momentum against Cameron Stone. Despite coming up short against Phillip Schneider the time appears to be now for Cameron Stone to begin his ascension atop the WFWF ladder, and nothing would expedite that process then being the first man to put an “L” in Hutton Brown’s win-loss column.
Singles Competition
AJ King vs. Trace Demon
After his rallying victory over Calvin Lee at “Attack! Of The Little Green Men 2” Trace Demon was brought back down to earth when he was upset by Oscar Conrad Davidson. Meanwhile, after failing to win the National Title AJ King succumbed to Shawn Malakai at “Something’s Gotta Give”. At “OJ Didn’t Do It” two of the most talented wrestlers in the WFWF face, both looking to get off the proverbial snide before any losing streaks can begin to mount.
Singles Competition
Hollywood Honor vs. Mr. Amazing
Hollywood Honor made his debut at “Something’s Gotta Give”, proclaiming himself to be a future Heavyweight Champion. His first hurdle to that goal is Mr. Amazing, a man so amazing it’s in his name. With a name like that this has got to be good.
