Gonna shelfwarm like mad. I love the concept, though. DB and Ziggler look pretty cool.
Target just isn't a hotspot for WWE figures from my experience. $40, while fair, is a lot to drop on a set that includes 2 guys with limited appeal to kids and the same Kane/Cena they've probably already got. Of course, it looks nice and not everyone has an updated Kane and a semi-updated Cena, so perhaps there's something more. The main draw here for kids are the belts, though. And the belts don't look great...even the unpainted Jakks ones look better just because they shine. And you have to figure that most people, kids too, probably have a ton of Jakks belts anyway.
They should have done what Jakks did for their BCA title boxsets and just used a piece of soft plastic in the shape of the belt, with the belt designs just painted on instead of molded. Those still looked good and were just prints, without additional molds or anything required.

So they are going to have the same attire Daniel with a new head in a normal line instead? Because that's the old scan in the box. Too bad, I will have to pass on it, I WAS excited about it, not anymore. Too slow Mattel. If it goes on clearance or sale I'll consider.

Mattel made a big mistake here. Either the belts should have been painted, highly detailed belts or all 4 figs needed to be new repaints. This will def be on clearance by Oct lol

Yeah those belts didn't turn out great. Maybe if they were shiny they would look better.

I will probably buy this just because I like the idea of it. I know it's not perfect but I'm getting the Ziggler regardless, the Bryan is still great (I actually don't know how much I liked the smiling scan we have seen on ebay), and I am sure I can paint the belts. I'm not sure why Mattel didn't use the B5 Cena scan, it was shown originally at SDCC and is by far his most accurate scan imo. I haven't picked up a Kane yet so while it's not a figure I want it's not like I already have other Kane's. Like has been said though, I expect this to be $30 in no time, although to the average consumer the $40 set with belts might be a good deal and we might see it move quicker than we think.

Wow awesome, another great thing i bet we arent even going to get here since we're still stuck on E6. I want this but shipping on this would be a killer so it looks like im out for a while.
Looks like a new studio shot of Kane with the title on the back too, had'nt seen that one. If anyone is able to get a nice clean scan of it that would be awesome.

Just picked up the set from Target in Stamford CT, I am a sucker for these things... it hurt to spend $40 but I dig the Bryan and Ziggler and I'll probably sell Kane and Cena at the next convention I do

The belts not being painted makes it horsecrap to me. I agree. Either go big or go home, Mattel. There is never a reason to release a product with less than the proper amount of detail. Like anybody is going to enjoy these horrible belts?

You guys just aren't getting it. With the price point at $40 for 4 basics and 4 belts, of course the belts aren't going to be painted.

Yeah this is a decent set. Ziggler & Bryan are 2 of my favorites today so regardless of the generic Kane & Cena and the non painted belts I'm still buying. Hell I buy everything else!

I can see myself buying this after thinking about it. I'm a huge Daniel Bryan fan, and I love that particular attire. Ziggler in gold is cool. The Kane and Cena aren't great... but I'll find some use for them.
