Looking good. I know it's out of context to the full film but the whole blue lit spinning spider room or whatever looks kind of cheesy to me.

It looks great.
Can't wait.
Garfield is one of my fav younger actors.

The first half of the teaser was good, but I seriously hope they don't put shots like that last POV sequence in the film. We don't need to "BE" Spider-Man to WATCH Spider-Man.
The style-over-substance approach to that entire sequence made me feel like I was watching a guy playing a video game, but like he was doing all the complicated moves right from the get-go and not telling me how he was doing them, so I couldn't possibly keep up.
I'll be interested to see more as it develops, but I still don't like the costume.

Looks awesome! Stoked, can't wait, seems more based of the ultimate's storyline. Where spidermans, wolverine, cap, and the hulk were all either apart of or accidental casualties of what shield was doing. I'm excited for this film. Too bad its not made by marvel so spidey could be apart of the universe.

Totally agree with this. I'm hoping that final POV scene was simply a way of gradually revealing the look of Spider-man (via the reflection) to the trailer audience. It didn't fit in at all with the style and presentation of rest of the trailer and came across as a mere cheap trick. I don't think, at least I hope it won't be in the actual film.

It felt very out of place and hokey. Maybe I'm in the minority here in being slightly less excited about this after seeing the trailer. Don't get me wrong, I'm definitely very much interested, but seeing all of these scenes reminded me just how short of a time span it's been since Spider-Man.

I wasn't totally against a re-boot, but the trailer really didn't give me any real reason to be totally excited. The origin story doesn't need to be told again.. This just seems like a darker version of the original movie which doesn't have me that intrigued

Looks interesting. I'll definitely give it a watch as I'm sure it'll be good. I'm surprised they kept Spider-Man's appearance pretty secretive in that trailer considering all of the photos released last week.

I was so pumped for this movie... then I saw the trailer. It screams "bad fan film" to me.
First off, even though I know he can act, Garfield just doesn't look like Peter Parker to me. His goofy expressions and horrible haircut don't help, but he looks more like he should be in "Emo-Man" instead.
On the same line, why make him emo? It was one of the (many) flaws of Spider-Man 3, that section where he became all emo and lame. Dancing down the street? Ugh.
Casting Martin Sheen and Sally Field was a mistake. I said it. I think they add star power, but does Spider-Man need star power?
I will forgo the obvious "does it even need a reboot" debate, because Hulk was rebooted in 5 years, and the results were awesome. So, the time frame doesn't bother me. What bothers me is that the movie, in my opinion, looks terrible. I loved the first two Spider-Man movies, and own all of them on Blu-Ray. But this? It just has the feel of a fake film. It felt to me like a trailer for a fan film.

I think he seems more shy/introverted rather than emo.

Hmmm... IDK, it looks okay, but there's just something about it that doesn't feel right. It doesn't have the same feel to it like the first one.

I love Garfield, and I'm gonna give this movie a chance. It's gonna be extremely hard to top the original 1st movie in my opinion.. But I will go into this movie with an open mind.. As long as they don't flood it with lame 3D swing tricks like I'm at ing Universal Studios. I have no problem giving this movie a chance.

WOW. This looks pretty awesome. Not sure where they're going with it, I mean.. I'm sorta lost on why they're re-creating the first film again. I sorta like this guy better than the Peter Parker in the others though.
