So leg articulation is more important then having Amazing Red and Hulk Hogan "almost" (it is Jakks) scaled appropriately?? I mean I can name you Jakks RI parts and come up with a PERFECT Amazing red....You cant do it in DI....but you get leg articulation for the 6'6" 265lbs 22" bicep Amazing Red. Scale doesn't matter these days. Toys are toys. Did scale stop many of you Marvel Toys collectors from purchasing the Samoa Joe and A.J. Styles two pack a few years back? No. We never really had a scaling option until...well Mattel. Scaling has never kept me from collecting but scaling HAS made me start collecting figures again.

Well it certainly isn't those RA figures. My God, I don't know what you guys actually see in those figures. The poorly sculpted heads (for most), and the lack of leg articulation? Please. Look, maybe I took this a bit too far; but I'm just going with what I heard long ago from a Jakks Rep, DI is in fact the main series for the TNA toys. Now if somehow Jakks announces at CC that RI figures will make a comeback, then good for you guys; but just in case, you might wanna grab a few tissue boxes, just in case. So leg articulation is more important then having Amazing Red and Hulk Hogan "almost" (it is Jakks) scaled appropriately?? I really never bought Jakks' WWE stuff, apart from a handful of guys I felt I needed toys of. The fact of the matter is, there isn't enough parts in the Deluxe inventory to have a good TNA roster. At least with the RI style, you get a wide range of torsos, and you can get a Jeff Hardy that doesn't look like he's cosplaying as MC Hammer with those ridiculously huge jeans.

No. AJ and Joe are similar height-wise... Maybe so, but not with the other Marvel TNA figures. They were too big compared to all the good ones; and yet people still purchased the set with no complaints. Look, just let Jakks decide this one; obviously we have no say so in this matter. Just stop complaining about them, everyone.

Many of us have been collecting since the days of RA/RI started and earlier.

One RI figure in each wave would be fine with me. That'll at least keep the complaining to a low, for a while. Just don't think that RI will become the top series again for Jakks. Welcome to the Deluxe Era, the future of wrestling toys.

Let me be the first to say this, since I'm quite sure of it..., will you please shut the up about Ruthless Impact figures! It's getting old. Let Jakks decide the fate for RI at Comic Con so we can finally put this to rest, for good. Deluxe Impact is the future and the main series for Jakks TNA products, get over it. RI/RA is old, it's history. Move on. I agree so much. It makes me hate every Jakks TNA thread we have here. A few crotchety old guys who want RA figs, gonna be bitching about it 15 years from now. I don't care if they make cheap discount store RI figs to satiate the small demand those figs have, but if they dumped the DI line to step back it would be horrid. They make cool ass DI figs and people crap on them just to be stubborn. I got the RI Sting/Hogan set recently from RSC, and I was so underwhelmed with it, I would be glad to never see a RI/RA figure ever again. The DI figures aren't perfect but some are damn good. Those of you who want all wrestling figures to be RA scale from here until the end of time need to move on with your lives.

Hard to sell something thats not in stores Amen to that, Brotha! How is it that Wal-Mart wants to sell Jakks UFC toys, but not TNA? It's still a mystery to me. Something just doesn't add up here. I never get tired of hearing about complaints on store locations for Jakks figures. It's music to my ears, every time. ;D

As a collector since the BCA days, I've grown to love the DA figures, and they make up the majority of my collection now thanks to customs. However, I can understand why someone would prefer RA/RI, just like some people on the "Other Figures" board would be thrilled if Hasbro got the WWE/TNA license and started making those things again. It all comes down to preference, plain and simple. I like them as toys, so I'm perfectly fine with scaling issues and the like, because I don't need/want miniature clones of all the wrestlers; just a miniature representation of them. If I want a miniature clone, I'll buy an UMF style figure. I also understand the appeal of Mattel's figures, but I've simply put to much time, money, and effort into DA collecting and custom making to justify a switch for me (I also think that they are WAY over-priced). It's obvious though that right now, Jakks wants to continue with Deluxe figures as their main line, and probably reached that decision through sales numbers. I know about the infamous poll on here about which style WE would prefer, but you must remember that WE aren't the only people buying these figures. They didn't just go, "Hey, you know what? We've been making a fortune off of these RA figures, and those DAs aren't selling for poop, but we should probably just sell those for now." No, They made a decision that they think is best for the company. Jakks tried scaling with the R3 Tech figures. They had fairly poor sales when compared to other lines, and became fairly expensive to produce as there were many unique molds. This led to Jakks canceling the line, and in my opinion, becoming jaded to the idea of having perfectly scaled figures again. I also think it's slightly unfair to really compare Jakks vs. Mattel right now, as the budgets for these figures are on completely different levels...

Jakks is doing a whole lot better than Mattel with their figures on limited budget. Mattel is all about hype and byproduct of WWE's popularity
