Not sure if that's a troll remark, or just simply joking. Ah well. Interesting, but Steve Blackman doesn't interest me at all, ironically enough.

... what? Penguin, I'm sure you have great plans, but what the hell? Haha. Steve Blackman wasn't one of my favourites, but I'll read, if it's even anything to do with him.

6/26/07; San Antonio, TX; AT&T CenterThe show opens up with a quick video package of Chris Benoit versus CM Punk at Vengeance: Night of Champions where Chris Benoit was able to capture the vacant ECW Championship. We go the arena where we are greeted by Joey Styles and Tazz. They hype up tonight we will hear for the new ECW Champion Chris Benoit and there will be a triple threat match between CM Punk, Elijah Burke, and Marcus Cor Von to determine who will become the Number One Contender for Chris Benoit’s ECW Championship. The theme of Benoit hits to a loud ovation from the San Antonio crowd. The crowd waits for a while, but Chris Benoit does not make his way out. Eventually, Johnny Nitro comes from the back with a cocky smile on his face as he approaches the ring. Nitro has a microphone and he says it seems like the only way he can get recognized around here if uses the ECW Champion’s theme song! Nitro says he was booked against Nunzio last week, but then people like Chris Benoit and CM Punk are facing each to see who will become the ECW Champion. He carries on to say that title is as good as his, and it sickens him to see someone like Chris Benoit with the title! Suddenly, the theme of the champion hits again, and this time it’s really Chris Benoit as the crowd pops. Benoit tells Nitro he hasn’t earned a title shot yet, but Nitro interrupts him by saying Benoit didn’t earn anything because as soon as he was drafted to ECW has was basically handed the title shot! Benoit tells Nitro he isn’t going to stand around here and listen to Nitro’s complaining all night, so he challenges Morrison to a match right now to settle this! Nitro at first seems hesitate, but he accepts and he nails Benoit with the microphone! A referee runs down and checks on Benoit. Benoit tells the ref to ring the bell and the match is under away. Johnny Nitro def. Chris Benoit VIA CountoutThis was a pretty good opening contest and Johnny Nitro looked impressive going up against Chris Benoit. The champion was able to lock in the cross face, but Nitro got to the ropes. In the end Benoit took both Nitro and himself out with a suicide dive. At a count of five both men were up and brawling, but Nitro was able to throw Benoit into the steps and he slid back in at the count of nine to get the win!Nitro celebrates his win as Benoit is in disbelief on the outside. Benoit rushes inside as Nitro leaves the ring. Nitro taunts Benoit as we go to a break. BreakIn the backstage hallways we can see Elijah Burke and Marcus Cor Von. They are discussing the plan for their triple threat match against CM Punk later on tonight. Burke pitches the idea that the work together to eliminate CM Punk, and Cor Von pitches in after that may the better man win. Burke looks surprised and told him after the eliminate Punk; he’s going to win the match. Cor Von argues with him saying he is going to win tonight, and the two superstars start to argue as we go back to the ringside area. Matt Striker is making his way out to the ring and he talks about how it is his Birthday. He tries to get the crowd to sing Happy Birthday to him, but they refuse. Striker tells the crowd if they refuse to sing, then he knows who will sing Happy Birthday as Jillian makes her way out Singing Happy Birthday. The crowd tries to drown her out, but the theme song of The Boogeyman hits! Striker holds on to Jillian as Boogeyman makes his way out to the ring for their match. Eventually, when Boogeyman gets in the ring, he gets in her face, but she is able to slip out of Striker’s grasp and she runs out. Striker leaves the ring, but the ref orders him to get back in the ring for the match. The Boogeyman def. Matt StrikerHappy Birthday, Matt Striker. Boogeyman was able to defeat the former teacher with Goodnight, a.k.a. the Pump-Handle Slam. Following the match, Boogeyman took his worms and stuffed them in his mouth. He took some more and picked up Striker before dropping the worms into his mouth and face! The crowd approved of this as Striker was laid out in the ring while Boogeyman celebrated his victory. Up next, CM Punk versus Elijah Burke versus Marcus Cor Von to determine the number one contender for the ECW Championship! A video package hypes up the ECW debut of The Miz. BreakAs we return we see the ECW Champion Chris Benoit making his way out. He’s not one-hundred percent, but he tells Tazz he insists in watching this match up close. CM Punk def. Elijah Burke and Marcus Cor Von to Become Number One Contender for the ECW TitleA fine main event to close out the show, and it went to a Break after Punk took everyone out in the match with a cross body to the outside. Cor Von and Burke’s alliance was short lived in this match, just to note. Finally, this triple threat bout came to an end after CM Punk kicked Cor Von in the head and hit the G.T.S. on Burke for the three count.Punk celebrated his victory following the match to cheers from the crowd. Punk ordered for a microphone as Benoit stood up. Punk told Benoit he wasn’t going to wait until The Great American Bash to get his rematch, but instead he’ll be seeing Benoit next week for the title! The crowd popped as next week we have a huge main event, Chris Benoit versus CM Punk for the ECW Championship![/font]

ECW on Sci-Fi: Tuesday 26th June 2007...For this sir, you can review my RAW is WAR in 1998 and my RAW & NXT in 2011. Chris Benoit not coming out was strange, considering that he is ECW World Champion and all. Johnny Nitro coming out was very good, boosted his ego some. Hot opening contest, didn't really like Nitro beating Benoit by count-out though, especially not in the way it was done. It killed the end result if you ask me. Matt Striker trying to get the cheap pop was amusing. Liked the Boogeyman arriving and crashing his birthday by beating him in a match. And lastly, a decent match between CM Punk, Elijah Burke and Marcus Cor Von to determine an opponent for Benoit's title. Punk winning was unevitable. Wish that Cor Von won though honestly. If Punk and Benoit are resuming their feud, where does Nitro fit into this, having beaten the ECW World Champion earlier in the night? I assume there'll be a triple threat match ahead at the Great American Bash. Overall, quite a decent start up show, lacking a match though. You could have easily fitted in another match. Hope we see The Miz and Viscera's resurfacing, and maybe the beginning of 'John Morrison' span from here.

Interesting opening segment, making me believe Nitro/Benoit is the plan for SummerSlam. Nitro getting the count-out win is like a 1980’s angle to get a guy a title shot… I love it. I could get behind a Cor Von face turn to feud with Burke later on. Poor Striker, the guy is so talented as a heel I hope he gets something better than losing to Boogeyman. That is a huge main event for next week. I fully expect Nitro to get involved and we get a three way for the title at GAB. Decent start to the diary, nice focus on the championship.

Really liked the opening segment with Johnny Nitro coming out to Chris Benoit's theme and acting like that's what he needs to do for him to get a reaction off the fans. Nitro/Benoit is a huge match to kick the show off and ending it via Count-out was the correct choice as it's too big a match to give away on television rather than on pay-per-view, which I fully expect you to do. One thing I'm not a fan of is the size one font for the match results. It looks ridiculous. I liked Elijah Burke trying to devise a plan with Marcus Cor Von to work as a unit to take CM Punk out in the triple threat. Matt Striker bringing out Jillian to sing Happy Birthday was random, however, it did work due to Jillian's character. Decent win for The Boogeyman. Looking forward to seeing what you do with The Miz on ECW. Glad that Punk got the win and Punk/Benoit should be a banging match next week. Since you've brought forward the Punk/Benoit match then that definitely leads me to believe that it'll be Nitro/Benoit at The Great American Bash now.

Thought I'd bump this up for ya. As soon as I read Benoit didn't enter I was like, "oh ****." Joking aside, loved that Nitro used the champ's theme song, gives him some heat. Nice opening segment and the opening match was just as good. I'm hoping you keep Nitro hot and give him a title shot sometime soon, I loved his character back in 07. The backstage segment between Burke and Cor Von was decent, maybe a Cor Von face run? Doubt it. Funny segment with Striker, reminds me of how annoying Jilian was a few years ago. I actually liked the Boogeyman on ECW, so please give him some credibility! Punk winning the title shot is no surprise, would've liked to see Burke get a chance at the GAB. Big main event next week, I see Nitro interfering and setting up a triple threat at GAB. Overall, good start to the diary, and I'll be keeping a close eye on this as this was my favorite time period of WWECW.

The opening segment with Johnny Nitro coming out to Chris Benoit's music was great to get him some serious heat. Not too sure on him defeating Benoit, even if it is via Countout, but I am all for Nitro being pushed. Should be a good Triple Threat Main Event. The Boogeyman over Matt Striker is great, I've always been a Boogeyman fan. Can't wait for the debut of The Miz, and as Dan said, hopefully Viscera makes an appearance soon. CM Punk with the win was definitely the right call, and I like the post-match promo, but saddened by the lack of Nitro involvement. As Dan said, I think this could have used another match, but still, it was a decent show. Keep it up.

ECW 6/26/07; Certainly excited to see if you can keep Benoit going. Nitro coming out and complaining is what the WWE would have done probably. I like him going over Benoit also, even by countout, since it opens up possibilities. Tensions high with the New Breed. Boogeyman never really impressed me at all, make this different. With him going over Striker, I am disappoint. Ugh, the stupid worms thing. Punk going over is awesome and I like the rematch for next week, but the sad thing is I see Nitro getting involved. Good show man, keep it up!
