Evidently no League Cup thread. Darren Ambrose's goal is, quite obvisouly, one of the best strikes of all time.

Great goal, but to say it's obviously one of the best of all time is a bit much. Delighted for Dougie Freedman. Worked wonders at Palace and will probably go on to bigger things. Fantastic to see that a Championship club will make the final. City/Liverpool will be brilliant over 2 legs.

Blackburn were utter poop when we played them Tuesday, we were good though. I enjoyed joining with the 'Sacked in the morning chants'.
But cannot wait to play Palace, we beat them in the league already but this is completely different. I don't think they'll be able to beat us over 2 legs with us at home 2nd though. Hopefully Wembley, here we come again!

Hope Liverpool can beat City in the semi. Should be capable if we perform well over the 2 legs. Good draw for Palace and Cardiff as it gives them a good chance of reaching Wembley.

Loving Cardiff beating Blackburn, was shocked at Palace beating Utd but happy about it now knowing Cardiff have a good chance of getting in the finals

Good goal no doubt about it, but the positioning of the Goalkeeper needs to be questioned, he pretty much invited Ambrose (who scores goals like this regulary) to shoot.

We were poor last night. Take nothing away from CPFC though, after Utd them, Spurs and maybe Real are my next favourite teams. Hope they go on and win it now. City-Liverpool will be good, think whoever has the second leg at home will edge it.

We were decent, dissapointed Chicharito is injured though. With Rooney in one of his goalless patches and Chicharito out for a month hopefully Berba will get the time he deserves up top.
Haven't seen this Larsson dive yet, will check it out. If anyone has a Youtube video of it post it here.

O'Neill definitely has his work cut out, some of that was really poor.

It was quite theatrical because he went so far forward, but in terms of the dive itself its no worse than many others I've seen. Sad but true.

I just cant get why Larsson got a penalty for a clear dive, ok he mite of had the faintest of touches but not to dive like that.
