Anderlecht's apparently saying that Chelsea has yet to place any kind of bid on Lukaku. This saddens me.

What's your opinion on ticket prices? news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/14367144.stmI'm surprised QPR don't get a mention in this article, considering they are charging Bolton fans around £50 (and some seats are advertised as restricted view), I think that is disgusting, clearly trying to profit in their 1st and only season back in the Premier League. Personally i'm glad Sunderland's prices are pretty good, cost me £36 to watch the game vs Newcastle (Catagory A) in a few weeks.

For my local team i get a free season ticket and if i attened 4 games i get a free scarf and if it attend 9 games i get a free home shirt so im saving a fortune.
But for most teams the prices are disgusting. QPR's prices are a joke for a team thats just been promoted.

Just seen this someone put on Twitter.
"According to FFT, Sunderland's average attendance in 2010/11 (40,011) is only 81.7% of their capacity... meaning they have the fourth lowest attendance in Premiership."
Surprised at that, but amused!

Surprised at that, but amused! Means nothing, such a pointless stat. 40,000 is more than other teams get.

How's that possible when probably over half of the PL can't even fit 40,000 in their stadiums

How the are Stoke and Birmingham seeded for tomorrow's EUROPA League draw? Especially when the likes of Hannover, Bursaspor, Dnipro, Hannover, Young Boys and Red Star Belgrade aren't.

Really can't wait for it to start now. Charity shield should be decent today. Liverpool wise I think it could be a good season for us. I'd be happy with a top four finish though but a push at the title is possible. As for our first XI I think when all are fully fit:
Reina Kelly/Johnson Carragher Skrtel Johnson/New Signing Kuyt Gerrard Adam Downing Suarez Carroll
Bench- Doni Agger Aurelio Maxi Henderson Lucas Meireles

Man City would have absolutely destroyed Man Utd had Mancini not been so such a poor manager. His tactics are so negative it's not even funny.

Utds depth in squad is immense. If all goes well this season United are going to dominate. I only watched the highlights but all looked good.

Dzeko's and Nani's 1st goal were out of this world, amazing goals.
Great game too, wasn't expecting much as the Manchester Derby doesn't normally live up to the hype.

Was a great game, happy we won too. Kinda important for us as we need a good start this term, our opening 10 games are difficult.
Cleverly looked very good apart from when he sliced it from just outside the area, reaffirms my belief that we need a ball winning midfielder ahead of a Scholes replacement. He needs a few more games to prove he can play well week in week out against good teams, but he looks a good prospect. De Gea was poor on the second City goal, but made a few saves in the second half. Seems to me like hes a great shot stopper but falters when given a second to decide what to do (i.e. a long range shot). Heard something like 13 of his goals conceded last season were from outside the area, so hopefully he can improve on that, although he has plenty of time to do so.
City looked poor, but its still pre-season.With Aguero in, fitness up and mistakes down they will make a title push imo.

Fantastic game today. Usually the Manchester Derby is always rubbish (bar that ridiculous 4-3 a few seasons ago), but was throughly entertained today. Knew United would win though, even at 2-0 down. It's just what they do.
Nani's first goal was incredible and, although it should have been saved, Dzeko's goal was also fantastic.

Aaron Lennon takes it on his chest and brings it down, passes it to Bassong who runs with it before laying it off to Huddlestone, Defoe spots a window and makes a run, Huddlestone sees him and makes the pass and Defoe puts it away nicely. "Right lads," says Palacios, "let's get one more Plasma before the ing pigs get here."

Really disappointed with the result today. We dominated the first half should have been 2 up at half time if Suarez had put the pen away. Downing hit the bar too.
Second half played really poor, gave away the ball too much and were overall sloppy. I though Adam had a decent game, Downing was largely ineffective on the right in the second half. Henderson was very quiet. Enrique did ok. Flanagan was really poor as was Lucas. Playing long ball for Carroll really doesn't suit us. Thus far that 35 million in January paid for him looks a poor investment. He isn't convincing me one bit. We gotta get our act together if we want to get back in the top four.
In other results i was shocked QPR got stuffed as bad as they did

Terrific result, was fearing the worst after 12 minutes especially after 2 early bookings for Richardson and Cattermole. By all accounts an absolute screamer from Larsson and Wes Brown sounded like he kept Carroll quiet all game...not bad for £1m Fear the worst for Gyan, as it looks like he'll miss the Derby match next weekend. Still atleast that spirited performance puts us in good shape for next weekend.

Got to question the team Dalglish picked. Don't understand why Kuyt was left out considering he was Liverpool's top scorer lastyear. Kelly should have been playing instead of Flanagan and Aqualani should have been on the bench.
