I don't think Arsenal would sack Wenger but like Mike I think he could well be asked to walk away.

Off to Swansea tomorrow should be a good day out but expecting Sunderland to let the fans down once again. Can see the majority of support turning on Bruce if we don't get a result, I haven't been impressed with his interviews this week at all, he sounds like a man under a ton of pressure.

There's no such thing as a good day out in Swansea mate . Really thought you'd beat them today!

Lmao, got there and was surprised how much of a dump it is definitely not how my parents/grandparents described it. Also is there such a thing called road signs in Swansea? Got lost for about 30 mins trying to find the stadium lol.
Match was average, typical away performance from us imo and I was right, most of the fans turned on Bruce at Full time. He doesn't seem to have any tactics and then decides to take off Seb Larsson with 20 minutes to go despite him being the threat that caused Swansea problems. Meh, roll on Chelsea....

Crackin performance today thought we played really well. The defence played well except for Carragher's error at the end but it didn't make a difference in the end. All our new signings played class. Really suprised how well they've all settled in especially Henderson. Suarez was class as usual. Just goes to show how much better we play without Carroll in the team...I still think he was such a huge waste of money....Didn't look interested when he came on. Him playing makes us just lob long balls which doesn't suit out play...Overall though great win. Pity there's an international break(so pointless). Stoke up next

Judging by what we have seen so far, it looks to be a three horse race for the title, between Liverpool, Manchester United and Manchester City.

Stoke up next Im a Man Utd fan but i have to say Liverpool are impressing me big time. The width they are playing with is really making a big difference for them and when you have wide players like downing and Hendersen (did hendersen play down the right? i know he did for sunderland) the forwards will have a field day with their service. Hendersen will be the buy of the season hes quality. I also like how Dagleish brought in british players rather than the foreign rejects Benetiz bought although Lucas seems to be coming good, very improved. Liverpool could challenge this season if they avoid injuries particularly at the back although i believe if youve got a really good attack you can get away with a mediocre defence and i think Barcelona are prime examples of that. One more thing about Carroll i believe he will net atleast 20 goals this season with crosses Downing and Hendersen swing in, cant believe your on carrolls back already, wait till the end of the season youll be eatting your words.

Yeh Henderson does play on the right. My problem with Carroll is that he makes us become a long ball side which doesn't suit us and doesn't work most of the time. Plus his record has hardly been impressive....3 in 13 games. Maybe I will eat my words..I hope I have to but currently i'm not impressed

I don't care what Steve Bruce, Stuart Pearce or Jordan himself says, he is far more effective as a right midfielder. He has the qualities to ping in great crosses (when he does) and can work really well with a overlapping right back as was proved with Alan Hutton a few seasons back. when he does improve his crosses on a consistent basis him and Downing will prove quality on the wing.

I am sure when Villas-Boas finds the correct formation and players to play in those positions, they will come good. You are also correct; Liverpool have a lot to prove. They have only put in a legitimate title challenge once in recent years. I am sure they will do well, though.

Really impressed with Man City today, they're gonna be right up there come end of the season.
Dzeko and Aguero with the goals and Nasri/Silva with the assists, wow.

Watching Manchester City makes me feel sick. It'll be a complete disgrace if they win anything this season.
I think they should really implement caps on transfer fees, or even put on cap on the amount that can be invested into a club. Four years ago City were a low-level, awful team that went months without scoring a goal at home. Now they're being touted as potential Champions when they haven't earned it. They will have bought their way to trophies.
I think Liverpool have been exceptional so far. I agree that they still have a lot to prove as far as consistency goes, but I think Dalglish will do them good this season. I also think it's a little early to write off Chelsea, even Arsenal. They will always find a way to be right up at the top of the table in May.

Bloody hell! Manchester City are just class this season. Has been a pleasure watching them.
Another crapresult for us today. I am starting to fear the worst for us this season.

What a masterclass, was impressed with City but me United were amazing. Wenger will walk if he has any sense, he'd be dead man walking if he worked at another team but I don't think the hierachy at Arsenal will do such a thing.
