Incredible game and incredible result for us today. Played brilliantly, and if we play like that all season, could stand a chance of finishing in the top 8.
Caught the second half of the Tottenham v Arsenal game. Amazing goal from Walker and another top result for Tottenham.

Wow, Utd play Liverpool and no one posts? I thought it was a fairly even game, first half was boring but second was much better to watch. Result was fair, even if their FK shouldn't have been given. Giggs was shocking in the wall, very dissapointed.
Thought Smalling was great at RB, surprised he didn't get MOTM tbh. Jones was ok at CM, bit dissapointed 'cos I had high hopes for him being a great box-to-box midfielder. Still, with time I think he will grow into the role.

Not too happy with result but it's done now and good to get the fixture out the way. Nice to see Vellios score after Chelsea fans said "who?" when he was announced coming on.

I thought we deserved the win especially with Hendo's chance at the end. Was great to see Gerrard back. Kelly and Enrique were solid at full back. Lucas was poor. Adam and Downing were decent. Suarez was pretty good but seemed a little bit off today. Overall happy with a point.

I disagree, thought he defended well. I don't rate Adam at all, think hes far too slow and puts more balls in the Kop than the box.
Cracking 2nd half for Spurs - Newcastle, think 2-2 was a fair result. If Newcastle can keep this up they may get Europe. 2 great FKs in the Arsenal-Sunderland game too. RVP would be worth £50m if he wasn't so bloody injury prone.

Decent televised games this weekend. Liverpool v Manchester United was a decent game. The first half was an absolute stinker, but it kicked into gear around the hour mark. Was hoping for a lot better, though, going by the way Manchester United have been playing this season.
Arsenal v Sunderland was a fairly good match in the end. The two free-kicks were fantastic (Larsson's was one of the best I've seen in years). Van Persie looked quality, though, and that chip deserved a goal. Nice to see Arsenal FINALLY get a decent result, even if they could have lost it.
Newcastle v Tottenham was pretty good as well. The second-half was an absolute belter; end to end stuff. That being said, the first half was an absolute bore fest. Disgustingly defensive. Either way, all turned out all right. Looking forward to next weekend!

Strange feelings after today's game, really should of been 4-0 down in the first 15 minutes or so but then Larsson and his terrific free kick (still got a sore throat from celebrating lulz) and really should of been 2 or even 3-1 up at HT. Knew we'd lose though as Bruce can't seem to motivate the players in his HT team talk, great goal by v.Persie but Mignolet really should of done better. Hope Westwood gets given his chance next week, Mignolet has made 1 too many ups for my liking.

Was at the Rangers/Liverpool friendly tonight. Wasn't too sure about going, but definitely glad I made the trip. Rangers were pinging the ball about like Barcelona, attacking like Real Madrid, and quite honestly, making Liverpool's first team look like a League 2 side at times. If only they could play like that in competative games...

Loving our current run. Obviously it'll come to a complete standstill at some point this season (Probably sooner rather than later). I'm just glad we're picking up the points while we can. We should get 3 points against Wigan this weekend, then we have Stoke and Everton. I'd be chuffed with a point from either of those two teams. We need to get the points while we can as we have Chelsea, Man United and Man City in November/Early December!

"Aaron Ramsey scored the only goal in a 1-0 win over Manchester United, the next day Osama bin Laden was killed. On October 19th, 2011 Aaron Ramsey scored the only goal in a 1-0 win over Marseille, the next day Muammar Gaddafi was killed."
Made me lol.

Gutted about the result today. Apparently, Herd didn't deserve to get sent off. I'll just find out on MOTD.

I don't even mind we lost 3-1 after watching the Manchester Derby. Absolute heaven.

Likewise, that 3-0 loss to Millwall doesn't feel so bad anymore. Great game, amazing performance from City.
