At least it's easy to paint the rubies on, compared to say....painting the US title, haha.

I like them both - but I think I prefer the dull one. If you look up pics of the WHC, it is a made of a dull metal - rather than a shiny one, so I think Mattel are just trying to be more accurate:

I see the case for both of them, the WHC has had many different looks and changes quite drastically in different lighting. Honestly, theres bound to be a fair few of the WHC released so Im not angry that we are getting a few different options, in fact its the opposite. IM glad we have some variation to choose our favourite. Id have to see both in person to properly decide though.

I agree, and with the person that posted the WHC picture and commented about how it's made from dull metal. The other week, I saw Randy Orton holding the belt on SD, and he was walking down the ramp. it looked pretty dull, so I like the Elite belt.

I was at san diego comic con and also noticed the dull gold belts on display. I also noticed the winged eagle heavyweight belt that comes with Bret Hart was dull, but the one he had at the panel in his hand was shiny. I also noticed Andre the Giant came with a shiny one. I'm hoping Mattel has heard the complaints and will make sure to use shiny finishes for all belts. If they don't cost out for the budget of a certain series, then they should just wait to release it when it is financially possible.
I also noticed the Elite 11 Miz WWE belt was dull as well as the Elite 12 Daniel Bryan US Title. It's not so much a matter of they have to be shiny because the real belts are shiny. It's about being consistent with a style that you started with. If Mattel started off dull, then there'd be a lot less complaints.
Anyhow, Chewdeezy, thanks for the pics! Really cool to see the two belts compared to each other. I definitely think Mattel's belts are really really great. The detail is so great for such a tiny accessory. Can't wait for more belts like the last version of the winged eagle that I am more familiar with. The one that was around before it merged to be the Undisputed.

I love the shiny belt. The dull version looks like a bootleg.

Dull one looks terrible. It has fans because it came out first. If that came out after the shiny one, bricks would seriously be shat.
