Im Not for 3 and 3/4 figures as we still havent got a full elite series in Canada yet, And i would hope they fix the distribution on Elites before adding More $cheap$ Series to fill the shelves

Pretty informative. I'm a legends nut so I'm happy there will be 2 flashbacks per elite series. I was pretty dissapointed tht legends were going exclusively online but it makes the most sense for mattel right now. I like how he said they are trying to build the legends brand back up again. I just wonder why Jakks classics were the hottest around and Mattels which are far better IMO didn't do well for them. I wouldn't say it was the attire choices or the character selection because all of the wrestlers that were made definatly deserve to be in the legends line. I did have a problem finding them in stores and the price point may turn some people off I guess. Thanks for the interview guys In my opinion the reason is that most collectors already had them in Jakks form and weren't willing to get rid of the jakks collection or even a new collection of the same people. I have to admit I'm that way. I've only bought Steamboat and Macho in the legends line and am looking for the Von Erich's. I hate it because I do feel like mattels are better looking but I'm not going to fork over $16 for people I've already spent $10 for because already had everyone else in Jakks form and just don't want to start over. With me I only collect legends and Basic so I've not purchased mattel as frequently as I was Jakks because like I said I have most of the legends and the current roster. |

Bret didn't have the title at Canadian Stampede. Undertaker was champion at the time. Bret won it from him a month or so later. They should really check details like that on the Defining Moments line, I think. I'm glad we're getting an extra belt with the figure, but it's that kind of oversight that led to stuff like the wrong date on the Shawn Michaels DM figure. CORRECT!!!! bret won the title at Summerslam 97 and where the hell are his PINK glassess?? |

plastic shirts suck. so not only do we now have to pay on average $18 for one Elite (at retail) now the quality is going to suffer because of the switch of shirt materials. That is an absolute horrible decision. The whole POINT of the Elite line is "highly detailed authentic ring attire"...no one wears rubber shirts. |
