Jersey Shore Season 4 won't even premiere until next month, but a new report out today (Thursday) claims MTV has locked the cast in through a sixth season. According toThe Hollywood Reporter in the most recent round of contract negotiations, MTV agreed to pay more than $100,000 per episode to some of the Jersey Shore stars - but only if they agreed to a Jersey Shore Season 6. That would mean at least three more full seasons (36 episodes) of Jersey Shore will air the adventures of the most famous and outlandish reality stars - perhaps ever. The MTV reality show is currently filming Jersey Shore Season 5 in Seaside Heights. Before production on that season even got underway there were widespread reports that MTV would replace Snooki & Co. after JS5 wrapped. MTV denied there were any current plans to bring in a new crop of guidos and Pauly D even called he and his co-stars irreplaceable Snooki, JWoWW, and Pauly D are all set to being working on Jersey Shore spinoffs after Jersey Shore Season 5 finishes filming. MTV has confirmed their spinoff shows will premiere sometime in 2012. I seriously hope one of the seasons goes to North Wildwood. This week on Jersey Shore: The gang goes to the Anglesea Pub and screams, " THE IRISH!!!" Next week on Jersey Shore: The gang is in intensive care! |

It's sad, because for all the solid programming MTV has started to air in the past two years, this garbage is what represents their station.

I can't see it lasting that long, at least in quality(yeah, I know what I typed).
Last season become somewhat weak, especially with the Sammie/Ronnie drama.
They should be bring back Angelina. lulz.

That's it! After season 4, I'm done with Jersey Shore. I'm willing to deal with Season 4 to give it a chance, but I'm not going to watch any other seasons they're going to do.

Quite possibly my favorite part of the Jersey Shore. Home of the Anglesea Jazz Festival, the NJ BBQ Cookoff, the Number 1 Tavern (and its signature drink, the Super Tully Nut), and a whole lot of Irish Americans. |

I just hope season 5 and season 6 are filmed in Jersey Shore since it kind of defeats the purpose of the show when 2 of the 4 seasons aren't filmed at the place the show is titled after.
