I have to say I was a bit disappointed that Rey Mysterio won the WWE Title tournament just to lose to John Cena. Even as one of Cena's 6 or 7 fans on this forum, I thought it ruined what was a really cool moment for Rey. Everything seems to have been a bit rushed in terms of the WWE title.
Cena lost the title and was supposed to be fired, just over a week ago. CM Punk left with it, just over a week ago, and was supposedly gone... and now Cena's Champion again already? Everything that happened last night really came at Rey's expense. I know nobody will care because for some strange reason he is majorly disliked by WF, but I think it's a shame. Punk and Cena could have feuded with Punk's WWE title, while Mysterio could have re-ignited the feud with Del Rio (with Del Rio attempting cash ins for a couple of weeks, then finally succeeding, taking the title and then a rematch at Summerslam, would have been nice).
Anyway despite that, I'm not bitching, RAW was brilliant. Both WWE title matches were grand, J.R. and John Morrison returning made it even better. I'm sure people will be pleased that Zack Ryder got on the show, I laughed at Michael Cole wearing Triple H attire. And of course, Punk, along with his awesome new theme that I've waiting for forever now, returning was great (I just feel it was a tad too soon). On top of that the crowd was fantastic, one of the most engaged crowds I've seen for a while.
Overall, kudos to WWE, but I think Rey's big win was kind of ruined in an instant.
