For years the Smithe family has been in charge of the United Kingdom Wrestling Association [UK WA]. It all started in 1948 when Harris Smithe booked his first wrestling show under the NW banner with the Main Event as Orville Brown vs Sonny Myers. It was then when the NW decided that Harris will book many more shows for the NW. Harris booked more successful shows for the NW until 1949 when Lou Thesz refused to defend the NW World Championship in the United Kingdom. Eventually the NW severed their ties with Smithe. Harris then desperately in need for money to raise his newborn son, Stuart. After spending 5 years in the construction business, Harris started his own wrestling company. He called it the United Kingdom Wrestling Association [UK WA]. His first show had Leo Noelani go over Orville Brown to win the UK WA World Championship. Harris Smithe then kept the company running well until Stuart turned 16, Harris let Stuart become the Main Booker for the UK WA. The NW then contacted Harris again about having the UK WA under the NW banner. After a year of thinking, Harris agreed to the deal. Now that NW:UK WA has been running greatly for 3 years, Stuart wanted ultimate control over his Fathers company. 2 years later, the NW once again severed their ties with Harris Smithe & the UK WA. Harris now 60 years old gave his company to his son, Stuart. Stu took the company to better times with a television deal. A year later, Stu had his first and only son, Alexander. After a few years, Stu had lost the TV deal and the company was going down the drain. After hanging on by a string for 15 years, Stu handed down the company to Alexander. Alex stopped running the company for 3 years to raise his son, Christopher. When Alex restarted the company in 1994 he only ran it for a year before UK WA closed it's doors in 1995. |

On July 31, 2011 the United States Championship Association will have their first show: USWA Debut. At the event, Jack Joseph will fight Cody Rejero to crown the first USWA American Champion! I will also make a special appearence. Also, former WWE & WCW superstar Dave Finlay will be making his second Indy appearence. United States Wrestling Association
USWA: Debut - July 31, 2011 - Stamford, CT - Cubeta Stadium
The debut of USWA opens it's doors at 7:00 PM for the VIP Meet & Greet. Dave Finlay, Jack Joseph & Cody Rejero were signing autographs. Meanwhile 75 fans were waiting outside for the show to begin.
The general admission line was allowed in. Over 100 fans were coming in. The ring announcer: Justin Lang told the audience to sit down for the start of the show.
Christopher Smithe came down to the ring to confront the fans. He began talking with a rich British accent.
"Welcome to United States Wrestling Association! Tonight we will crown the first ever...USWA American Champion! The winner of tonight's Main Event between Jack Joseph & Cody Rejero will become champ." Kyle Matthews then came down and started to talk to Smithe. " I don't get why I'm not in the Main Event? As of right now..... I am not going to compete tonight." The audience does not like Matthews' attitude. Smithe told Matthews that is great because he has a backup plan. That plan is.....Dave Finlay and Finlay will have his match right now!
1) Dave Finlay vs. Adrian James.......... For his first match, James had a huge challenge on his hands. Former WWE United States champion, Finlay. As expected Finlay got a great pop. The match started at a slow pace. Adrian put up a challenge but it showed that he was still green in the ring by tapping out to a devastating Celtic Knot at the 12 minute mark.
As Adrian was walking to the back, Dave Finlay went and brought back James in the ring. Finlay raised James' arm and both men went backstage.
2) Brent Cash vs. Ell Junior.......... This was exciting fast paced action. Junior was flying all over the ring. Cash got in some offense not to make him look weak. Junior hit a 450 splash to amaze the crowd. Cash looked to end the match by disqualification by grabbing a steel chair. But the referee stopped him. Junior jumped off the top-rope but it was reversed into a Saving Grace for the win at the 21 minute mark.
---Intermission--- (Ell Junior, Adrian Jones & Christopher Smithe signed autographs)
As Intermission finished, Christopher Smithe came down to announce that our Main Event of the evening will be a Hardcore 60 minute Iron Man match and it's next!
3) USWA American Championship - Hardcore Iron Man - Jack Joseph vs. Cody Rejero....... This was an EPIC Main Event. The first pinfall came when Rejero hit Joseph with a chair shot at the 15 minute mark. The second pinfall came when Joseph hit a suplex through a table at 35 minutes. Joseph hit a Flying Saint at the 55 minute mark for the win and the USWA American Championship.
Just as Jack Joseph got up and celebrated his title win, Kyle Matthews came down with 2 money bags and asked Joseph if he would like to sell his title. Jospeh punched Matthews to the ground as the show came to a close. * I know the first show is not very good but I had to post it* |

For a first show this was pretty good, and I am very happy that Joseph won the title. I think you could use bold and color to make the show look more attractive, maybe even a different font. Also, if Finlay was used on your show he shouldn't definitely have main evented, since he's much bigger than the two guys in the main event. I liked the Ironman match though and Junior vs. Cash seemed good. I can't wait too see where you go from here and I hope you can get some more sign ups.
