I am one of those infamous WCW marks. I would love to see a WCW line, I know Jakks did one but I felt that they really screwed it up. I would love to also see this set come with WCW belts. One thing collectors wants and I am sure Mattel knows this is belts. We have never gotten WCW belts outside the ones used in WWE (world, crusierweight). Give us the old WCW, tag,TV,and U.S. This would make me and I think many others extremely happy.

They said they wanted to but acquiring the rights to the belts (through the creators) is not cheap nor very easy and there was no plans in the future.

doesnt WWE own the rights to the belts though? I mean I know the belts have creators but if WWE owns what was WCW is it not a WWE thing?

WWE have the rights to the current WHC design which is the WCW title with some modifications. If they wanted to use the WCW design they would have to pay the original designer of the belt.

Even if that were true they'd still have to pay the creators...but I don't think it is true I'm pretty sure the design of all the belts have changed since coming to the wwe.

Well there doesn't need to be a series, they can just be Elite Flashback or Legends, but I'd like to see some WCW love. I hope DDP can win, and he could get the WCW US title....or just the World.

I'd personally love to see a Billy Kidman in grunge gear and Rey Mysterio Jr. in his Phantom bodysuit or his red, white and blue tights Flashback Jericho could be cool too. ...and of course if they could get a deal, absolutely love a Bill Goldberg figure!

any WCW/nWo figures from the 1995-2001 period, and any WCW belts are an instant buy for me

I too am a WCW mark, and although I've slowed down a lot with collecting, I'd buy probably everyone in a WCW series.

No, they didn't. And they won't make a WCW line. WCW can be in their Flashback, Legends, and Defining Moments no problem though.

The series doesnt need belts, by not having belts it makes it cheaper for Mattel and cheaper for us to buy
Realistic Series 1?: - Billy Kidman - Mysterio Jnr - Gregory Helms - Bret Hart - The Giant
