I really think that the only reason that Wave 1 didn't sell well was because the selection sucked. if Mattel chooses better teams/rivals, they'd probably sell much more.

Even demolition or lod would have had different results if they used them for two packs. Great intentions but poor selection, even though I purchased every legends two pack

i think Orton/Piper looked nothing like either wrestler. Bushwhackers and Sheik Volkoff were spot on though. I would done the Rockers rather than Sheik/ Volkoff and maybe Duggan/Andre to replace Piper/ Orton. I would have put Volkoff in place of Duggan's single release.

Piper looks too happy to be Rowdy Roddy Piper and I dislike all of the Ortons but I am gonna pick up that pack just because I am such a Piper mark. However I hope that if you do release another Piper that you kindly get a better model or scan for him.
Also a Piper/Mr.T or Piper/Hogan/Orndorf/Mr.T set would be nice.
If you really want to go the extra mile a Cyndi Lauper/Captain Lou or Cyndi Lauper/Piper set would be cool too.

Weren't the Rockers & Von Erichs originally scheduled to be Series 2? If so, I feel like sales would have been much better than they were for Series 1. Sheik/Volkoff didn't appeal to me mainly because I already had L2 Sheik, & the Bushwhackers are the Bushwhackers. They definitely were not good choices for a Series 1. I did end up getting both, but only after TRU put them on sale months later.
I think that the Rockers as a two-pack will do better than if they were sold separately, moreso than the Road Warriors or Demolition. I'd also still like for Mattel to reconsider selling Anderson & Blanchard separately, & make them a two-pack with some freaking tag team belts.

I personally wanted and got all of 1st series, but I knew they wouldnt sell well.
Lets hope Rockers kick ass so they do more! Maybe 4 TT a yr on matty or somethin. And a couple RSC exclusive ones.
