My Legends Kamala figure I bought earlier this year has always had loose ankles, but now it can't even stand up under it's own weight. I've tried balancing the damn thing numerous times, and nothing works.
It now lays horizontally below the rest of my collection. Does anyone have any info on a fix or any other recommendations on how to get this figure to stand properly?
I'm not sure calling Mattel would help because it's been so long since I purchased the figure and I don't have a receipt anymore. I read here somewhere that they've been asking for receipts to be faxed in or something like that.
Help please!

I'm really not sure what could fix the ankles man. But if I were you I would give Mattel a ring and just see if they can do anything. Might as well try, never hurts to ask.

you could put some glue in the joint but keep moving it while it dries so it doesnt get stuck.
or you could use the clear bands that hold the figures in the package, wedge them in the joint, tie, and cut

Yeah my Elite John Cena is like that. Pretty annoying cause he's the only one. At the moment on display he is just leaning against a wall so you can't really notice much, but occasionally he'll fall forward and I'll find all my figs on the floor!

The closest Mattel I have of having a loose ankle is my MDW Kerry Von erich, but it's nothing that causes him not to stand. He's been standing fine in my Legends setup since I got him. But like KJ said working a drop or two of super glue in the ankle joint will fix it.

Only figure I have with loose ankles are Dusty Rhodes and E7 John Cena.

I've used Zap A Gap before and it works great. Apply a dab, work the joint in question and it builds a layer that make the joint stiffer. You can repeat as needed, just becareful to pplay little drops and not globs.

my brian pillman have tht same problem but i just keep it like tht dnt want it to break like my elite 7 triple h hand tht break inside and had to glue it

half the Elite's I've purchased have had at least 1 loose ankle joint.
A little bit of superglue in the joint seems to work nice for display.

Yeah, my Elite John Cena, and my Elite Sheamus both have really loose ankle joints.

Thanks for all of your suggestions guys, I'm going to look into a couple of them this weekend while I have time.
It's weird because I never had this problem with any of my Jakks figures. I'm not bashing Mattel but it just never happened to me with any of my RA's or CS figs. Of course there were loose joints, but for some reason I never encountered loose ankles. Odd.

yeh i have a few jakks and mattel figures with loose ankles, it's a pretty common problem with figures. i just try to lean them up against another figure or something

My wrestlemania 26 Elite series rey mysterio has a REALLY loose fist. I can spin it around like a wheel, lol.

Yes!!
My Elite Sheamus has both very loose ankles! I'm gonna get rid of it since i managed to get another one with tigher ankles.
So does my Elite DX Triple H.
Mattel seriously sucks sometimes.
And my Elite Zac Ryder has very bad stains on his thigh from the black thread used in his transparent shirt.
Damn!

My Elite Christian has troubles standing because of this. Might try the glue trick.
All my Basics are fine though.
