I am might get killed for saying this, but I figured you guys might like a outsider who has been on this board for a while make some comments on general pic feds. I am not looking to start trouble or anything...but I will name drop a couple of my favorite shows (I might have to discribe them because I forget their names)
Ok let start at the beginning. Look at other people's shows. Some are Awsome, great, bad, or down right awful. But you should look at them all and drop them a line. Try and be helpful, people put a lot of work in it, they want to hear from you.
Second when setting up a show, be creative. How many times have you seen the same thing? How many times has Paul Heyman brought the Extreme? How many times has a show been invaded? How many times have we seen the same show?
I realize that people use Jakks products, but sometimes it is cool to watch it when other figs are used. Their is a great show here that had a real TNA feel. The last champion was Chris Sabin...Wow didn't see that coming. I gave it really high remarks. For a fed that has WWE wrestlers, the PWF (I am sorry if I screwed up your name) has the BEST in storylines and pics. Take a look at that show if you haven't.
Third when shooting a show, you can have the GREATEST pose in the world, but if it is out of focus or far away then it will not come across. That will kill your show. I don't know about anyone else, but for me the pictures are the story. Take your time, shoot tight close up shots and keep changing directions. I have worked in TV Production, in your first class you are told if you keep the camera in the same place then it is boring, and you will lose the audience. About "Calling the action" I could really care less what you write. Some people do, I really just read interviews and look at your pics.
Fourth, I can't tell you how cheap and awful your show looks if you build a set and make your own hand drawn logo. Come on, it is 2007, make a logo!
Fifth, this is just me, don't use figures that are all beat up. I have seen it before, it takes me out of what you are doing.
Finally, Have fun with it.
Anyway, I had to get that off my chest from seeing a bunch of your shows.....oh and I am really sorry I don't reply to more.....

) KC and Guru would also try to have the matches better than normal, focusing on them instead of storylines. Talking about cameras, i dont think you need a really high tec cam really. As long as its not a camera phone, or something like a webcam, its alright. So yeah, different people focus on different things, so i dont think any fed will ever be, 'perfect'.
