The following information was released on the World Wrestling Federation web site:
World Championship Wrestling Championship?World Championship Wrestling Champion Shelton Benjamin will be allowed to keep the championship and defend it until further notice. His next defense will be against Christopher Daniels on the next Main Event program. The match stipulation will be, if Christopher Daniels wins the WCW Championship he will be allowed to choose the fourth member of the faction known as "Golden Fortune" (formerly known as the Four Horsemen)
Intercontinental Champion Randy Orton changing directions yet again?! It seems so since coming across former WWF Champion Cody Rhodes. The dark mind set of the once Dashing one has been put The Viper in another situation, after Cody injured Orton's partner Dave Batista. Cody Rhodes went on to wrestle several others and has been trying to rearrange their faces and Randy Orton has stepped up once again for the WWF Universe and Superstars to stop this once "dashing" now "demented" Cody Rhodes!
"The Natural" Nick Nemeth looking to the final spot in " Fortune" he has been impressing the trio for a number of weeks and if Shelton Benjamin can over come the odds and defeat Christopher Daniels he maybe able to add him to the group. However if Christopher Daniels wins he can choose anyone on the roster! This could be disastrous to the group!
Sheamus preparing for Iron man match with Ted Dibiase Jr to unify the Championships. He went home to his home country and began preparing like a Celtic Warrior would! But will it be enough to defeat the billionaire son Ted Dibiase Jr? Everyone will find out when these two meet in a 30 minute Iron man match on the debut broadcast of The Main Event on the new network!
The Peeps finally flew away? Christians new found attitude has cost him some fans, once the fan favorite now the most hated? He came back on the final episode of WCW Thunder and took out the Untied States Champion Kofi Kingston proclaiming himself the new Untied States Champion claiming he deserved it! How will The Real Champion Kofi Kingston handle this once they meet again?!

World Wrestling Federation History
In the beginning, World Wrestling Entertainment reestablished the importance of professional wrestling in sports entertainment. Linda McMahon stepped away from the company leaving Vince McMahon as sole owner of the company. This allowed Mr. McMahon to have the lead creative control and full control of the franchise. Mr. McMahon now had a renewed interest in having hands on with the product, he divided the RAW Smack-Down brand into two separate franchises. This allowed each brand to have it's own set of pay per views and to create their own superstars. Vince McMahon decided to do away with much of the current PG product, it all started once he replaced the Smack-Down General Manger with himself. He allowed RAW to carry on with the anonymous General Manger (which was being monitored by the WWE board of directors.)
The RAW Brand, WWE Champion Edge re-ignited a old feud with his arch rival Matt Hardy after Matt Hardy won the Money in The Bank match at Wrestle Mania 25. The feud would result in several high stake matches where Matt Hardy began teasing the WWE audience about cashing in the brief case. Finally the RAW GM decided to put a end to this and forced Matt Hardy to cash in his brief case due to his random attack's and fake cashing in's. Matt Hardy stated he would only cash the contract in, if he could choose the match he wanted. The RAW General Manger agreed which lead to Matt Hardy choosing the infamous Hell In a Cell match. Edge would go on to defeat Matt Hardy in the match making Matt Hardy the first and only person to loose the "cashing in" match. This lead to Matt Hardy desperately trying to get a second chance, but it he wouldn't get another chance until three months later at The WWE Royal Rumble. He defeated Edge with his brother Jeff Hardy's help.
The Monsters Rumble, Edge would enter the Rumble only to be eliminated by Kane who won the Royal Rumble to become RAW number one contender! Kane would go on to feud with Matt Hardy until Wrestle Mania 26, the two men competed in one of the most violent matches in Wrestle Mania history. Matt Hardy used every trick up his sleeve but he was unable to defeat the Big Red Monster. Finally after a long brutal match, Kane laid Matt Hardy out with his brothers signature tombstone to get the victory. Kane became the new RAW World Champion.
The fall of Smack-down, Smack Down had been dragging along on the franchise for quite some time. Mr. McMahon made the decision to finally end the brand. He brought back World Championship Wrestling to replace it. The WCW brand would go on to become a short term success. Mr. McMahon also resurrected the Original ECW hiring the original ECW talent to perform on the brand. This would also become a short term success but over time once the nostalgia wore off the ratings took a plummet. The Board decided to end both brands and focus on the flagship show (Monday Night RAW) however once Shane McMahon became a board member he convinced his farther to usher in a new era and change the flag ship show to a more family friendly broadcast.
The return of The WWF Name! Vince McMahon asked for the law suite to be reopened and to go to trail once more. This time Vince McMahon would win the law suite against the Wildlife Organization and get the right to use the WWF logo and name once more. Vince McMahon announced on the final RAW episode the WWF would return and come back with a new flag ship show called WWF The Main Event!
The fall of Mr. McMahon, reclaiming the WWF trademark would be the last thing Mr. McMahon would do in the now World Wrestling Federation. The World Wrestling Federation Entertainment Board Of Directors would vote out Vincent Kennedy McMahon as CEO. The board voted in Shane McMahon as the new CEO during the same meeting. Shane McMahon was brought on as the new CEO to revamp the World Wrestling Federation for the future and to breath fresh air into the corporation.
The New Generation, during the company's transition new faces immerged into the now superstars of the WWF. Ted Dibiase Jr came into the company and won the intercontinental championship which he would go on to keep it for a record setting eight months. He also remained undefeated until he lost the championship to former WWF superstar "Stone Cold" Steve Austin. However he wasn't pinned in the match, and has yet to be pinned in the WWF. Sheamus would rise up to be the most dominate superstar in WWF history, he had a undefeated streak unlike any other that stretched across the entire WWF. He would be stripped of the WCW championship after being drafted to WWF's flag ship broadcast. However, he managed to defeat Kane and put Kane out for quite sometime. He remained undefeated for eight months, until he faced Ted Dibiase Jr in a WWF World and World Heavyweight Championship unification match. This Iron man match had quite the unfair ending when Nexus founding member Ted Dibiase was helped by Nexus member David Smith to help Ted Dibiase become the first ever WWF Undisputed Champion.
Hulkamania or Cenation? Hulk Hogan would return to the WWF after the WWF's purchase of the National Wrestling Alliance and the now defunct Total Non Stop Action promotion. However Hulk Hogan's arrival wasn't welcomed as well as he had thought. The fan base was centered around John Cena which infuriated Hulk Hogan causing him to become bitter and dawn the black and white once more. Hulk Hogan would remain in the red and yellow until their Wrestle Mania match where he would turn on John Cena and create the feud of the century. Hulk Hogan brought the New World Order back for a brief time. However John Cena would do away with the group once and for all. This feud was a nasty battle between the two and has yet to be settled in a proper sanctioned match in the WWF.
