I'm all set with this, I'll just stick to classic Spiderman stuff. Ultimate Marvel is garbage anyway. Alright says the DC Fanboy

Yeah, that logic is ridiculous. If you hate the Ultimate Universe so much just don't read it. To say that it makes you turn away from Marvel altogether makes no sense.

Yeah it does, it make perfect sense. The way Marvel is doing things having the Original Marvel and then The Ultimate Marvel with the same characters, only with different stories and major changes both together; is stupid, and confusing!

Alright says the DC Fanboy Ultimate Marvel is what made me become a DC fanboy in the first place. Its called the Ultimate Universe, they're is always the original titles like Amazing Spiderman. But the fact with DC is they are totally destroying their legacy by wiping the slate clean and going back to issue #1.

Well whatever, I don't really care if it makes sense to you or anybody. I gave the Ultimate Universe a chance at first but my interest started to decline. Then I decided to turn to DC and started to become more and more interested in their characters and stories. Eventually I just completely lost interest in Marvel and just started reading DC exclusively. Does that make more sense now? I guess I should have explained it better before.

what part of 'dc does that too' do you not understand, voyager?
during the battle for the cowl arc in dc when dick grayson is batman, there was at least two other separate titles that had bruce wayne as batman fighting in gotham as he always had. one of these titles being the widening gyre by kevin smith.
this is a occurrence that happens in essentially ALL comic universes. it's like saying "i hate marvel because they bring back characters that were dead and dc doesn't do that!"
it's like, yes, they both do.

How is it confusing? The imprints are different. You're not going to pick up a regular Marvel universe comic and think it's an Ultimate. The universes do not cross over. If you are a casual reader like myself, the Ultimate Universe is amazingly attractive because it doesn't have an extremely ed up continuity to keep track of.

^ exactly, ultimates was designed for readers interested in the comic heroes but having no place to 'jump on' into the normal marvel universe which has become quite intricate.

I don't read Spider-Man, but I have almost no doubt that Peter Parker will be back within the next year. That's how it usually works with comic books anyways. actually....no. not in the ultimates universe. that's half the reason it was formed: for miller to have an outlet in which he could recreate the marvel universe into a new adaptation of the original form. when people die, they stay dead in the ultimates universe. One rule in comics: the only people who stay dead are Jason Todd and Bucky. Oops.
