Since we have the Hasbro threads, why not make one for LJNs!
Pick your favorites, or if you prefer label them as best/worst.
Here are my picks:
Favorite / Least favorite
Series 1: Snuka / Andre
Snuka seemed to have the best body detail, and Andre was boring.
Series 2: Steele / Andre (sorry Andre)
I got Steele for my birthday from my grandmother and immediately started making him eat turnbuckles. Hard to beat that. Andre was still boring.
Series 3: Heenan / Bruno
For some reason I remember being ecstatic as a kid at KB when I got Corporal Kirchner, though I don't remember ever caring for him as a wrestler. I do remember a cool spread in an '80s WWF magazine that showed him "in war", I probably liked him based on that alone! Bruno always seemed to be a peg warmer everywhere I went. He pissed me off
Series 4:
This w/series 5 are the toughest for me. It's impossible. I loved almost every single one from both series. Bret would be my first choice though I'll skip him and add him to my tag team pick. Using that logic, I'll skip the rest of the tag figures.
I'll go with Koko or Harley Race for my favorites. Frankie was an awesome accessory and Harley just looked great all around. Least favorite, I'll say Hercules because the gladiator outfit was gone (or seemed to be...I was really young) very quickly by the time the figure came out.
Series 5:
Here we go again... Tough choice choose between Ax, Hacksaw, white Hogan, Honky, or DiBiase. The rest are a close second, too. Isn't that awful? I'll pick DiBiase since I remember, again, my grandmother taking us for a toy run at TRU and nabbing him along with Honky. DiBiase was my 1st choice no doubt, and I opted for Honky after debating whether or not to get him, OMG, or Bam Bam. How's that for a memory? LOL
Red shirt Hogan is my least favorite, just because I liked the white shirt so much better.
Series 6
Another tough one of course, but Warlord and Haku are it. Bossman and Rude are a close 2nd, and again Andre is towards the end. But finally Andre doesn't come in last for me. That goes to the Ultimate Warrior as I could never get over his fat, round head.
Tag teams: Hart Foundation / Hulk and Hillbilly because I don't recall them tagging much. Granted I was but a few years old at the time, but I do remember The Dream Team.
