Anyone else get theirs today? Waiting on the mail man delivering mine. Seems like the mail always takes forever when you're waiting on something

Got mine through somehow managed to get a B for Higher History despite having about 25% of the notes for the year and feeling like I'd done crap in the Extended Essay. Also got a C for Higher English.
Failed Media & Maths but I only needed English to get my conditional so I'm overjoyed right now.
Hope everyone else has done well.

Got a B in my int 2 maths, considering I missed a chunk of the year due to illness and my school was closed most of winter, and I'm sitting it early, I'm pleased

Congrats to everyone who done well. If you didn't do well, don't worry, it's of no great importance. I left school with A Levels and everything, good ones, but there's just simply no jobs going. I would have rather left at GCSE and done an apprenticeship, been on a steady wage working Monday-Friday like some of my friends did. A few of them are on £300+ a week now, unlike me who is stuck working 16 hours a week in a shop because there's all jobs, or I'm 'over qualified' for ones I apply for. Bullshit.

Getting mine on the 18th... absolutely ages away and I need them to go to Uni.
Hating the wait and I got a bad feeling I might not have gotten what I needed.

If I get the right grades on the 18th I'll be off to Uni. After that I'll think I'll be in the same boat. But maybe in 3 years time the economy might be different. Can't see it happening though.

Why would anyone want to work a boring, soul-destroying 9-5 job for £300 a week anyway? Five days doing something you hate just to get two days to yourself. Loads of people who do that spend half of their wages getting pissed at the weekend to try and forget how miserable their lives are.
Do whatever you want to do, folks. If a 9-5 is your thing, do it. If you want to do something more exciting to you, try that instead.

I honestly think the economy will have improved by then. Obviously it depends on the degree too...if your doing a respectable or vocational degree and get a good grade you'll generally do fine in terms of employment.

Good luck/well done to all of you.
I never really cared too much about school/exams but still came out with a pretty good set of GCSE's and A Levels. Just working for the time being in a shop, anything to get a bit of money. May apply for uni in the next couple of years though.

I did... ok. I've started working with my day only just had my first pay. I would have been disappointed with 1 or 2 of my results, but I can see myself not needing any and just working with my dad full time.

Thought about going to uni at all? Got accepted for uni but changed my mind. Decided it wasn't for me.
