Today while I was out looking for the Batman Legacy Series 2 figures at the White Plains NY KMart I found the 4" Thundercats toys. They had the Thundertank, 1 Lion-O, 1 Tygra and 2 Mumm-Ra figures. I picked up Lion-O, Tygra and a Mumm-Ra. The figures are $7 each Their UPC #'s are - Lion-O - 045557330019 Tygra - 045557330026 Mumm-Ra -045557330088 Lion-O -Tygra -Mumm-Ra -

I saw them in my local Kmart as well. I didn't grab any as I was mainly looking for the Batman Legacy line. They also had the 6 inch stuff The Mumm-Ra was very cool looking.

So far of the dozens of reported findings of these figures the Cheetara is almost always missing. Besides her your store was missing the Thunder Kittens and Panthro. I hope TRU and Wal-Mart start getting these put out as well otherwise it could take a while to find all of series one.

Yes, I was hoping to find the Batman Legacy 2 figures as well. But these were a nice surprise. So far of the dozens of reported findings of these figures the Cheetara is almost always missing. Besides her your store was missing the Thunder Kittens and Panthro. I hope TRU and Wal-Mart start getting these put out as well otherwise it could take a while to find all of series one. TRU.com has them. Or at least they did during the week. I still want to get Cheetarh, Grune & Panthro...I think I'll pass on the kittens

Good to know. Since I found those last weekend I've only seen the Thundertank and the Mezco Lion-O at TRU. And I've hit 5 KMarts, 4 WalMarts, 3 TRU and 5 Target's multiple times. Luckily alot of them were right by the hotel we were staying at.

Sadly this line won't be hitting my shores till December 1st according to Ban Dai UK which majorly sucks especially as the cartoon debuts in September. Even more so as most US sites aren't allowed to ship the toys outside the US or Canada for some reason such as spamS. Ebay is my only option for now.
I have bit the bullet and picked up the Classic Lion-O and Tygra off ebay as i'm pretty certain we won't be seeing the Classic line over here plus the price wasn't bad.
I am excited for these toys; love both the old and new show. Now i just wait till December...

Just watched all the new show episodes available today...really enjoy it. Especially Eric Matthews voicing Lion-O. I'll pick up the 4 inch Lion-O or Tygra probably

From spamS help section: Does spamS Ship Internationally? Yes! spamS will ship to most countries around the world. We ship by several carriers including mail and UPS. Shipping rates may be viewed by pressing the 'View Shipping Rates' Button after items have been added to your cart. You may also view and change shipping preferences once you have logged in to your account. I will warn you however. I have a few friends in the UK that collect Transformers and G.I. Joe and for some reason Customs and Excise always seem to zero in on spamS shipments and have a few times ruined the toys. Best stories about that were in regard to the Sigma 6 G.I Joes that had packed in batteries and a flashing red LED light. Seems plastic toys in cubed packaging with double A's, wiring and a flashing light look like bombs to Customs.

Bandai will be shipping the classics to the UK so dont rush on eBay and spend way over the top. Ive got quite a few of the old LJN figures and a lot of newer stuff in terms of statues. I must try and get a few pics up once i have them all on display. The LJN figures from the 80s cost a bomb mint on card.
Also in regards to customs charges, this is how it works - £18 value or above and they are liable for VAT and royal mail will charge you £8 handling fee to store them for you. £135 + is liable for higher import charges. Also even if you item is marked as "gift" your goods will still get hit with customs if they are worth £40 +. Hope this helps.

spamS usually ships to the UK unless the company themselves won't let them. From spamS help section: Exactly; it's Bandai who are doing this. This message is on every page of the Thundercats toys on spamS. I been collecting for many years and this is the first i seen of something like this, though i do admit i don't have much experience with Bandai products or how they work so this could be normal of them. I still don't get why the toyline is launching almost 2 months after the cartoon debuts here though. Bandai will be shipping the classics to the UK so dont rush on eBay and spend way over the top. Do you have a source on this? I did some digging around and found very little out and given the way the UK market is handled; figured the chances of seeing the classics here were pretty low so went the ebay route. I got lucky really; paid about £20 per figure before shipping, way less then i seen alot of others try to sell them for so i'm happy with that.

It stands to reason, they are not letting spamS ship to the UK because retailers will get hit hard if UK collectors already have them. They will want retailers to pick up future waves. I also got a reply from bandai themselves via email saying they will launch thundercats on 1st Dec, i really cant see why the classics wouldnt launch either. Definitely wait and see its a strong possibility we will still get the classics.

picked up a 4 inch Lion-O today. I like him...decent articulation for a smaller figure, on par with their pr stuff
