So my E8 Sheamus has loose ankles... but not typical loose ankles.
The ankles are loose forward and backward, not sideways. The figure is brand new and it can't even stand up. I can't return it and get another one, since I won't be able to find another at retail. What do you recommend?

if your just using it for display put some tack at the back of the ankles, you wont notice it on display, other than that tilt the foot up towards put a small ammount of tack in the joint and roll the foot back to flat position it will hold but still move like it should normally do (and breath)

That blows i hate when this happens. my elite 3 Christian and Nikolai Volkoff figures have terribly loose ankle joints as well and are soooooooooooo hard to stand up, even with the stands. its very annoying!

my E8 sheamus is the only figure i own (60+ figs) who literally falls down every day his ankles are horrible, a bit of glue, a mattel stand, leaning him none of it works, i actually want to buy a new one replace him and return the one with f'd up ankles i know its wrong but im sure some kid who will play with it doesnt care if his ankles are loose and im not really ripping anyone off

My E8 Sheamus is the same way. He barely stands on his own. I usually gotta use one of his hands too prop him up against the ropes or else lean him back a little more into someone else. I wondered before if anyone else had this problem too. Its not that big of a deal though really. He still a great figure and still not that bad. I wouldnt worry about it really. You could put some glue or something in his joints and work the ankles til its dry and stiffer. I never touch anything though cause i want too be able too sell the entire set years and years down the road so i just leave them be.

Plus you worked glue into his joints i mean who is too say a little kids even gonna end up with it and not one of us collectors?? You may end up returning it anyways and just getting another shittier one with pain smudges or the belt missing ya never know. So be thankful you got one and that he only has minor very minor thing wrong

you are both right, i just meant that there is nothing truly broken or wrong with the figure. as an adult loose collector all i want my figure to do is stand up straight which it doesnt do so returning it would be MY best option. im 27 years old i dont really enjoy waking up to go to work to a sheamus falling over and knocking 10 other figures all over my floor at 6am. its getting old.

Just put a drop of super glue in the joint and move it back and forth until it drys. It will stiffen up the ankle and it won't fall over anymore. I just had to do this to my elite Orton as he kept leaning forward.

my sheamus is the same way. Just use a mattel stand with him, I did and it seemed to help a little, but not much.

Drop a little dab of Zap A Gap and move joint back and forth as it dries..result is a stiffer joint.
