Didnt the Million Dollar Man have Andre hand him over the belt ?Why doesnt that count as a reign? Yes he was stripped right after but same goes for Dolph Ziggler and he is a former "World Champ" right ?

You only have the power to give up the title or drop it on purpose (See Finger Poke of Doom) handing it over willy nilly doesn't count.

Ted's does not count since he never won it, Dolph was awarded to him on a technicality involving a DQ and the spear form edge being banned

Andre sold the belt to Ted after winning it from Hulk Hogan, but Jack Tunney didn't allow it.

Kevin Nash randomly gave Ric Flair the WCW Title, which doesn't make sense.
DiBiase's reign should count.

Yeah, that is WCW. I'm pretty sure WCW and sense don't go in the same sentence.

To be honest, if what Nash says in the Legends: nWo show on On Demand is true, the whole figure poke of doom thing wasnt going to be a bad idea. They just had a guy that completely screwed up what he was suppose to do and it blew up everything from that point on. Way to go Goldturd

I haven't seen that round table yet, so I don't know what all he said about it... But I don't see any way that the finger poke of doom could have been good.

According to Nash, since Goldberg streak was stopped (even though he was the hottest thing going) they needed to build him back up. Their idea was to reform/rebuild the nWo (using the main guys like Hogan, Hall, Nash, Steiner, Luger) and pretty much sliding the others to the side (hints the nWo B team). To build a great heel/face you need another heel/face to work with so they were going to feud him with the nWo and build him back up, however he ended up putting his arm through a window and missed a lot of time. Nash said it really put you in a bad place cause you didnt something that sounded like it was going to work and then boom, you didnt have a face to fight off this heel machine and it all came crashing down.

Finger poke of doom wasnt a terrible idea just a case of Kevin Nash giving the belt to his leader I still to this day don't see why everyone hated it. Granted it was stupid but the idea was stupid just the idea of Nash giving Hogan the belt they could have made the reasoning better. Like Hogan could never beat Goldberg but his main man Big Sexy could so he sent his soilder in to build to get the belt back to the nWo.

Didnt the Million Dollar Man have Andre hand him over the belt ?Why doesnt that count as a reign? Yes he was stripped right after but same goes for Dolph Ziggler and he is a former "World Champ" right ? According to WWF (storyline) president Jack Tunney at the time, this is why the title was declared vacant (and why DiBiase's reign didn't officially count): -- Hogan wasn't the champion because the referee declared that Andre pinned him for the title, and no matter how bogus the referee is, the WWF rules state that the referee's decision is final. -- Andre the Giant wasn't the champion because the WWF rules clearly stated that a champion can end his reign at any time by forfeiting the title belt, which is what Andre did when he gave (sold) it to Ted DiBiase. -- DiBiase wasn't the champion because the WWF rules clearly stated that in order to win a championship belt, a wrestler must pin his opponent or make him submit. DiBiase did neither, so he was not the champion, per the rules.

DiBiase actually wore the title around for a few house shows. There is an MSG tag match that was on COD awhile back with him and Andre vs. Hogan and Bam Bam where he comes out wearing the title. It is pretty cool to see

The Fingerpoke of Doom was a DISASTER before Goldberg got hurt.viewers spoke with there remotes ten seconds after it happened.
I think it was just one swerve too many and incredibly lazy booking.
also Goldberg would NEVER have been allowed to destroy the nWo the way Nash claims.

Dibiase is a heel that I wish they would have let win the World Title at least once. Him and Mr. Perfect are two that I feel the WWF could have really used better back in the day.
On a side note, I am surprised they never even let Dibiase win the IC Title. What a waste!!! All they did was create a title for him, the Million Dollar Championship.
