Brock Lesnar has been speaking to TWP Magazine about his new book Death Clutch and various other subjects, here's what he had to say:
On Vince McMahon and WWE: "These guys, they just don't have another life. When they go home, they really can't get out of tune with their on-stage persona. There's really no time. I think the biggest thing is there's really no downtime for the human body to recover, and more importantly, for their mind to recover where you're constantly on the road, and in a program where you can't get outside to take an outside look at what's going on — guys resort to all kinds of extracurricular activities."
On what being with WWE has done for his career: "I'm not stupid — without the WWE, the WWE made me a household name and increased my value tenfold before I even pursued the UFC. Could I be where I am today without the WWE? Probably not. Could I be drawing the same numbers that I'm drawing? Probably not. I brought a lot of fans over, a lot of crossover fans that I brought, just from the general public and WWE fans, I believe."

Well there you go, for everyone saying he doesnt care about wwe fans, and thinking he didnt need them to get where he is

He doesn't care, but he is grateful. Really different things if you ask me.

I came in here expecting a bash fest. I respect him for acknowledging where he came from.

Cares enough to sign a deal with them for figures and a dvd. A deal with Mattel? I'm not sure if they can release a figure of him.

Well said Brock. He made good points whilst talking about a potentially explosive situation. One wrong word and he could have really put the cat amongst the pidgeons. But im glad he acknowledges WWE's role in his success, It would be great to see him return one day, yet I doubt that will happen.

Very nice of him to acknowledge the WWE. Still a douche though.

Brock is a very classy guy. Really? This is the first time I've heard him go out of his way to say something positive about the WWE and I completely respect him for doing so. However, my only underlying worry is that he is saying this because he has indeed signed a deal for figures and DVDs.

Shane is part of the UFC? I didn't know this... You didn't know it because it isn't true. Shane's already busy being the CEO of China Broadband Inc. and also sits on the Board of Directions for International Sports Management.
