Several readers have sent in word that recently released WWE star Chris Masters "crashed" the SummerSlam Axxess event today in Los Angeles, as he set up shop outside of the Nokia Plaza, the site of SummerSlam Axxess, and signed autographs for fans. He reportedly drew a pretty big crowd, and was said to be filming the appearance as well.

He has a ticket to SummerSlam...He tweeted that out I saw...He said he's a fan. That can't stop someone from going!

I think its a great marketing move for himself. Keep his name out there...connects with fans...maybe lands him in TNA this time around.

Hes in the commercial for Summerslam that is aired every time I turn on the TV, but he was fired a week before the event? Something doesn't add up. If they were considering firing him I would think it wouldn't be a last minute decision, and I really don't think they would put him in commercials for the "biggest event of the summer".
Maybe its a work. Or maybe the marketing dept isn't informed very well. Either way, it doesn't make sense.

Just going to get that out of the way, You forgot DAVID HARTHARRY SMITH!! Oh... and am I the only one who thought of Vance Archer when reading "Fired WWE Star gatecrashes"? Very interesting move on Masters' part- it's cool that he's signing autographs for the fans. Wouldn't surprise me at all if he ended up in TNA. |

I loved the video...he sorta reminds me of a buff Jason Segel, who I find hilarious. I hope WWE notices this. He did step up his game over the last year and a half and got no recognition for it....its a shame

i saw em about a month ago at some pizza place in hollywood like around 3am lol. he seemed pretty nice, shook his hand and talked real quick.
