OMG - WWE has scrapped the 2016 ECW DVD release! We’ve just received word that “OMG! ECW’s Top 50 Craziest Moments”, previously scheduled for November, has been replaced with an all-new Home Video title. At this time we cannot confirm the outright cancellation of “OMG! ECW”, but it is no longer coming this year as of right now. The ECW DVD/Blu-ray set has been in the works since at least September of last year when it was first announced and interviews began with ECW originals Tazz, Tommy Dreamer and Joel Gertner. As production of the feature has long been completed, we speculate that it will eventually see the light of day, whether that’s on physical media or as a WWE Network offering. As for what’s replacing it, that’s still to be named – but here’s a clue - The new, to-be-announced DVD/Blu-ray was NOT listed on the most recent 2017 WWE DVD surveys with all of these… Sycho Sid - Mark Henry - Ted DiBiase - Black History - Anoa'i Family - Sheamus - Goldust - Rhodes Stories - 30 Years of Survivor Series - Undertaker - WWE Health & Fitness - Epic Undercard - Hart Foundation - Rick Rude - Rising Superstars - Ultimate Warrior: Unreleased - Shawn Michaels: Unreleased - WWE Live In (City) - Tag Team Titles - Kurt Angle - Iron Man Matches. www.wrestlingdvdnetwork.com/wwe-ecw-craziest-moments-dvd-replaced-on-2016-schedule/118945/

Another who just saw the Scott Hall DVD.
I knew from E:60 that he had killed someone, but still really great documentary.

Just saw the new WWE/Scooby Doo Speed Demon movie. When I hear Frank Welker do Fred's voice, I close my eyes and purposely picture Ray Stantz from The Real Ghostbusters.
Then, it makes me wish for a WWE/Real Ghostbusters animated crossover.
Also... Does this mark the first time Dusty Rhodes (character & voice) was animated into a cartoon of any sort?

I've not noticed anyone posting about it, but has anyone else picked up the Attitude Era Vol3 Unreleased DVD?
I picked it up last week. Were I worked 3rd shift last week and have been on vacation, I've only got to watch a few matches from it. So far, I really enjoy it. These matches all have a different feel to them; so far none have commentary where they were recorded not during the regular tv and ppv broadcasts.
I remember when I was little and you could go to the video store and rent tapes such as Mega Matches, and Super Tape, and Fan Fest. These tapes were full of matches not broadcast on tv or on the ppvs, but around 95/96 this stopped. The tapes that came out around that time and then later the dvds featured almost all ppv, Raw, and Smackdown matches. Well this dvd reminds me of all those old vhs tapes. Its full of matches that I've never seen. So I can't wait to get some more time to watch this one.
Has anyone else checked it out yet? I'm curious to see what everyone thinks of it.

Picked up the hardcore title set tonight. It's like a stroll down memory lane Brings back a lot of memories. I love the round table talk with RVD, Raven, and Foley.

For those who collect WWE DVD's (the latest PPVS) in terms of the bonus kick-off match they always add on the DVD (the match that happens before the PPV goes on the air) the latest money in the bank 2016 DVD release sadly doesn't have the kick-off match on it.
now, whether or not this is just only on the MITB DVD release, or this is going to be a new thing on every PPV release, I have no idea.
but it could be bad news for people who like the kick-off matches.

I've heard rumors that a dvd of the Backlash ppv isn't being released. Does anyone know if this is true?

I've heard rumors that a dvd of the Backlash ppv isn't being released. Does anyone know if this is true? I personally haven't heard that rumour, however I hope it isn't true, as I collect the latest PPV'S on DVD that WWE release, this would be really annoying if it's true.

I feel like they just ripped the intro to this year's rumble, added Triple H clips, & changed the name of the video.

I've heard rumors that a dvd of the Backlash ppv isn't being released. Does anyone know if this is true? wwedvd.co.uk which is the WWE/Fremantle UK official website has just listed Clash of the Champions for pre-order. No Backlash on the release schedule so looks like it won't be released. Shame I was hoping for at least a dvd only release like we got for Beast in the East and Elimination Chamber 2015 which were Network exclusives.

Hey all! This thread used to be my favorite thread on this forum and now there is less and less chatter on it. I used to love looking at people's posted collections of what they had. Used to love hearing what all everyone was on the hunt for to help get it into their collections. Now days it seems like iit's just the one guy posting the same thing that WWEDVDNews has posted less than an hour before. So, with all of that in mind, what are you still on the hunt for to get one step closer to have a completed WWF/WWE dvd collection? How do you go about putting them in order when you display them? Do you only collect certain releases? Let's get this party started y'all! God bless everyone on here!! ;-)

I've noticed when I go to Walmart lately that wwe has been giving away the result of the main event on the cover. Now it's not like I don't know what happens because I have the network, but what happened to just using ppv posters as the DVD cover?

Now it's not like I don't know what happens because I have the network, but what happened to just using ppv posters as the DVD cover? Ya know, I really miss that too. They still make promotional materials, including posters, for their ppvs so it seems like it would only serve it's purpose using it as the cover of their home releases. Makes zero sense and leads to zero suspense in the event that the consumer doesn't know the outcome(s) of the event. I say it's being lazy mixed with a disconnect of it's audience. My opinion though.

Picked up the Summerslam blu-ray tonight at Best Buy. Just need the Royal Rumble blu-ray and 'Mania blu-ray of this year and I'm caught up. Should've taken advantage of the wweshop deal on the Rumble blu-ray ray a couple of days ago but didn't for no reason at all, lol. What's everyone else on the hunt for?
